I am just about 100% clueless on the secondary for both Denver and NYGiants. So do I start:

Eli v. Denver or
Plummer @ NYG?

Re: *** The Official Week 6 FFL Lineup changes***

Yo,
I have McGahee and J. Lewis. Should I pick up Tatum Bell or Chris Brown (or both) off the waiver wire to start over Jamal this week? Also I have the Bengals D/ST against steelers this week, should I pick up another D for a better matchup or no?

Thanks!

Re: *** The Official Week 6 FFL Lineup changes***

Bell and Brown will both do much better than Lewis this upcoming week. What kind of league has these two players both on the waiver wire?

Aces McGee 10-18-2005 04:46 PM

Re: *** The Official Week 6 FFL Lineup changes***

I need to start two of the following RBs:

Thomas Jones (vs. Baltimore)
Jamal Lewis (at Chicago)
Tatum Bell (at New York Giants)
Willie Parker (at Cincy)
Kevan Barlow (at Washington)
Marcel Shipp (Tennessee)

Bell seems obvious, although I'm a bit concerned about him only carrying 12-15 times a game. He's not likely to break a huge run EVERY game, even if he has in the last two.

Jones has been running better than Lewis, but it doesn't feel right to sit Jamal, particularly to start someone who is playing against the Ravens defense.

Parker seems to have lost his carries to Bettis, but I included him (and Barlow and Shipp) in case I was missing something.

Re: *** The Official Week 6 FFL Lineup changes***

You have to start Jones and Bell. Baltimore's defense isn't the same from years past and the other RBs on your team have huge question marks.

I go Plummer with this one. Denver has Bailey back.

Id go with Bell simply cause I dont like the Giants defense. Brown had his first real game last week with 2 TD's. I think Bell would be safer.

Brett Favre @ Vikings
or
Eli Manning vs. Broncos

Manning's line last week: 215 yds, 1 INT, 1 TD, 1 fumble lost (@ Cowboys)

Favre had a bye last week.

I like Favre here. He keeps throwing no matter how far they are ahead!

I've got 6 wideouts and can only start 3.

Boldin vs TEN
Ferguson @ MIN
Rod Smith @ NYG
Jurevicius vs DAL
Randle El @ CIN
R Moss vs BUF

My other questions, Is Tony Gonzalez even worth having on my roster? Is one of these guys worth dropping to pick up a back up TE?

PS: I love that avatar. GO CATS!!

Definitely the Redskins. Anytime I can start a decent defense against a rookie quarterback, I'm taking the opportunity.

Hi, I'm fed up with Tony Gonzalez. I just picked up Chris Cooley (WAS) he plays against SF this week. Start Cooley or Gonz @MIA? If not Cooley, there's Troupe, Heiden, Kinney, Wiggins, Miller and Pollard on the wire. Help please

The Redskins are -8 in turnovers this year and their defense produces very little in that respect (I think 1 interception, 1 FR so far this year). But they also don't give up very many points. Cincy's D can potentially give up a lot of points but they have been producing a lot of turnovers. The Skins are going up against Alex Smith so this might be the only week this year that the Redskins D is a solid play, fantasy-wise.

FWIW, I'm starting the Cincy D against the Steelers this week on my team.

I like Cooley the best out of that bench on the waiver wire. Now I'm not sure if I would start him over Gonzo. That's a tough one. Maybe this week.

I like Fitz, Ferguson & Coles more than who is on the waiver wire. I would definitely start Barber. I start Davis instead of T. Jones too.

Two more I'm seeking opinions on, though I think my mind is made up:

6 pts for a TD, 1 pt/10 yards

Kevin Curtis vs. NO or Robert Ferguson at Min (I'm already starting Holt)
LaMont Jordan vs. Buf or Thomas Jones s. Bal (different league than my other RB question).

Yeah go with Turd Ferguson and Jordan. Jones is going to be shutdown by B'mores defense without a passing game.

Now that the KC/MIA game has been rescheduled for TONIGHT it looks like I have to make a roster decision this afternoon that I was hoping to make on Sunday morning.

I need to either start Kennison @ MIA or Stallworth @ STL this week at WR.

I wanted to wait until Sunday morning to see what Joe Horn's status was before deciding. This is now impossible. What do you guys think?

Now that Dez White has officially been demoted...do you think I should take a shot and start B. Finneran or stick to the original plan of starting L. Johnson? IIRC, Larry Jphnson has been getting less carries since he fumble two game in a row?

ATL is at home against the M-E-S-S Mess Mess Mess

KC is on the road against MIA

Vick doesn't throw to his WR's enough and the Jets run defense has not been very good so I suspect the Falcons to run ALOT on the Jets Monday night.

I go with LJ this week as that game looks like it will be a ground battle. If he gets even less carries tonight then this might be the last week I go with Johnson.

Hurting at RB this week, Pittman, Dillon, and S. Davis all have bye week.

Starting Moore (Min)

Which is better?
Perry (Cin)
Taylor (Bal)

Thanks
