I'm going out on a limb here, but I think they use round chips that say 'Canterbury Park' on both sides.

It would help if your question was a little more specific. Are you interested about colors, weights, materials used? Some casinos use different types of chips for different types of tables (poker vs. pit games.)

Man you are the master of wit. I think it is pretty obvious what he is asking. He wants to know whether they are chipcos, paulsons, etc.

Well you could just keep pocketing chips when you're at the casino. Or even take a bookback or something with you, have your friend go to the bathroom, take 2 racks or more with you, dump them in the bag and go. You technically paid for them but I've seen some joints get upset if you take more than a few with you.

You'll pay about that much for custom made ones, so why not use those on a dollar for dollar exchange that way if someone takes one or 2, it won't matter

I dunno... not sure it's such a great idea to steal stuff from casinos. It's not too bad if you're running off with dollar chips, but if you're taking quarters or something, I imagine they might get really pissed off.

Haha. Hilarious advice. Nothing like worrying your buddy's invited friend might be pocketing a $50 chip from your home game.

As long as he paid $50 for it as I stated in my OR. Dollar for dollar exchange.

The chips are called Bud Jones chips - they're a plastic chip with a metal slug - the designs and patterns at Canterbury are exactly like WSOP chips - just different colors. They are NOT privately available.

There are pics of the chips on the internet - I've seen them around -

I gave Photoc a $5 from there - they take some getting used to - but I'm almost more used to them more then clay - and they just replaced their $10 chipco chips with a browish $10 Here's a few pics, but the $100 and $25 aren't there.

Meh. The surface is too smooth and therefore the chips stick together too much for my liking.

yah, once you've played with those nice clay chips, the Bud Jones feel like crud...

but they are a unique chip, so....they're used by a few places - I also have found them at the Flamingo in Vegas and the Tropicana in Atlantic City - that slick heavy plastic.

Only reason I know there's any metal at all inside is because one was cracked at Canterbury and I pulled it apart and found a label and an off center brass slug in the middle.
