Do You Deposit online with a credit card? HELP PLEASE

Hi,

I'm desperately trying to find a Visa issuing bank that allows for online gambling deposits... all the poker rooms casinos and Neteller say the majority do, but I can't even find one, I've spent about 6hrs searching for information and have requested lists from Visa USA (VISA corporate) PartyPoker, Neteller etc, none will help me. I've called about a dozen card issues and haven't had any luck, if you deposit online with a credit card please let me know what issuing bank you use so I can try and get a card through them. Thanks so much for your help!

I've used Citibank (MasterCard) and it worked.

My Wells Fargo (Visa) debit card works. My credit cards (Mastercard) do not work.

Deposit? Oh yeah, I think I made one about two years ago. I think I used a debit card. I have no idea if it works now.

I was informed it was against Visa's corporate policy to allow deposits using their credit cards. MBNA would not allow some internet purchases that they mistook for gambling deposits at the beginning of the year. I don't know what other cards' policies are but I doubt they are much different.

ePassporte.....works with ANY VISA card and only costs 5%

It works great. Any Visa will work to load up your ePassporte account, then load Party, Full Tilt, Poker Room
through your account. Just follow instructions at the
poker deposit site.

I used my CIBC Visa as late as late year to make deposits. I'm in Canada though.

CIBC, BMO & Presidents Choice MC will all work. I have 9 credit cards that I got years ago when I was trying to make my first deposits. Royal, MBNA, TD, AMEX will not work for me.

Why can't you just hook your checking account up to neteller?
If it's because your checking account is empty, using credit cards instead is a very, very bad idea.

Step back and think about it.

I'm skeptical about giving my bank account information out, where with a credit card I think no big deal. Worse things could come of my bank info getting out than my credit card.

Go to your friendly bank and ask them to wire the money to your net teller account. It will be there and playable in 2-3 days.

Credit cards tend to view poker funds as a cash loan and they take one hellish ammount out. I think when I checked into it it was about 20%. That is one hell of a rake for the bank and that does not include interest if you don't pay off monthly. Very -EV if you ask me.
