PS RELOAD!

Just got this popup! 25% up to $150.

Also a little blurb about how safe your money is with them.

Damn they're on the ball.

Yup, mine finally hit Neteller. I'm already getting ready to drop it into PokerStars.

As far as I'm concerned, PS might have just fired the death blow to Party & friends.

NICE. if they would just do something a bit more crazy, like multi's reload madness. That would be a big slap in the face to PP. guess it's back to work. was enjoying my time off.

I would be happy about a bonus I would actually be able to clear. I usually play 50NL, would also do 100NL, but those stakes are not enough to clear Pokerstars Boni at a decent rate.
I am still stacking all those bonuses. Maybe there is a time in the future where I play high enough for these (haven't actually played a single hand at Stars so far, just moving money in and out for the reloads...).

Never played at PS. Why is this bonus going to be hard to clear at 50NL?

1p0kerb0y 10-09-2005 06:34 PM

Re: PS RELOAD!

The timing for this bonus is impeccable. It's interesting to see the sites "slug it out" and trying to guess the reasoning behind some of the maneuvering and also trying to predict what will happen in the future.

Will Party respond with a reload of their own? Unlikely considering they just offerend account specific reloads about a week ago, although most of us got garbage from that.

How will the skins respond and when will we get their response? This is the greatest mystery of them all.

EDIT: spelling sucks

Each pot raked $1 or more is counted. That means a $20 pot is needed.

(In opposite to the $1 pot at SH games at the Former-Party-Network)

1 point for $20+ pot. but it is easy in SnGs (100% rake back)

Re: PS RELOAD!

PS is in the middle of the difficulty spectrum. It is not as easy as Party or Paradise, but still reasonably easy if you play at least 1/2. Plus, there is a lower rake and you can actually do something with the points they give you.

Kruschel,

I'm a low limit player too and kind of new to bonuses. (Let me get this straight)

So you can basically deposit $600 and cash out, and still be able to keep the $150 bonus as pending?

I don't play high enough and when I do, i'll just go back and clear it.

thanks,

YoungOne

Careful, check the Terms for the bonii. I specifically looked this time around, and noticed that if you withdraw any money before clearing the bonus you lose the bonus.

Edit: never mind. Just re-re-read the Terms...if you withdraw within the bonus period but before making a qualifying deposit, you're ineligible. It doesn't say anything about depositing and then withdrawing, they just don't want you whoring them by cycling your money when you hear about the bonus.

No RB on Stars. Oh well. I love Stars so much. Software is 5x better than any other site. Screw you Party, I'm going home.

When does this expire?? Im looking at clearing the party bonus and then popping my neteller withdraw into PS

Precision1C 10-09-2005 08:37 PM

Re: PS RELOAD!

1. PS don't expire.
2. They stack.
3. You can deposit wait 48 hours then withdraw.
4. 5 FPP per dollar, bonuses clear when you complete the bonus.
5. You get an FPP when the pot reaches: $20 at PL/NL, $10 at .50/1 FL or below, $15 at 1/2 FL, and $20 at 2/4 FL or higher.

Note to PS: To really stick it to Party have an FPP promo soon to get the new Party players hooked on the FPP freerolls to big money tournements that are so cost efficient. Although having low buy-in MTT tournaments with a significant number of free entries to a large qualifier for a major tournement entry could work well at a small price.

I just moved $1000 from Stars to my Neteller account this morning before they announced the reload. Anybody know if I redeposit $600 will I still qualify for the bonus?

Re: PS RELOAD!

sweet!

i had been holding off withdrawing any funds from pokerstars thinking they might do this. i still have $120 bonus to clear from 28 july WCOOP 2005 satellite promotion and another $120 from the 6 september WCOOP 2005 start promotion

this additional $150 will be very happy and the best part is it will clear with tourney fees at a 1:1 rate

Re: PS RELOAD!

OK so as I understand it, you can grab hold of the bonuses by depositing and then withdrawing, and the bonus simply waits there ready when you are. So, can you have, say, 4 of these bonuses all pending and then when you decide to clear them clear them all at once, or is it one-after-the-other?

i usually clear bonus here wihtin 2-3 days playing 3-6 high speed ... i love the high speed feature for sure. agree with rpevious posters that if you play .50/1 NL or even 1/2 nl it can take quite a while.

Re: PS RELOAD!

Also of note is that for anyone playing the $5+.50 SnGs they count for 3 FPPs.

darkcore 10-10-2005 07:38 AM

Re: PS RELOAD!

correct. they give you 5fpp per $1 tournament fee. they round the fpps for the $.50 up to 3fpp.

Re: PS RELOAD!

I can play 1/2 and 2/4 but I am much more comfortable at the 1/2 level. Will this be easy to clear at the 1/2 level?
