Selling shares of myself...

I know this probably a really dumb idea, and i will get flamed for this and it being my first post, but i figured id let people know anyway. I recently dipped into a 4 week downside of variance and had to drop down from playing $15/$30 to $5/$10, and now on top of things my car took a puke on me, and had to fork someone money over to fix that.

So now I'm doing something I wouldnt really ever consider doing, but do to my circumstance I need to try for this event. I'm looking to sell shares of myslef for the Fall Poker Classic next week at Canterbury Park in MN. I am going to play in all the events $4400 in all, but since my bankroll has dropped to $5000, I'd rather not throw it all in myself.

So, if anybody is interested in buying any shares, you can pm me about how much you would like and any moreinfo you may want from hand histories, phone numbers, and such.

And for everybody that wants to flame, I encourage it, flame away, this is probably a stupid post.

Thanks for looking though.

This is too good of a deal to pass up. I'm gonna have to outbid you. I'll put up 5k for 40%.

Why even post? Do you really think someone would take you seriously?

By the way in all seriousness. I'll give you $1 for 50% of your winnings. Sound dumb? Just read your post again.

With your current state of affairs, this doesn't seem like the best time to be playing in big buy in tournaments.

Yes. Why would you even consider doing this? Do you hate money?

I thought Minnesotans were smarter than this.

Btw... Schneids, BK, and Pickett are going to pick your pockets at the FPC.

Just make sure there's no spelling test.

I'm thoroughly disappointed that Pickett and BK are mentioned in the same breath as me (how do you even know Pickett?).

PLease tell me this is one of our regulars pulling our leg under an alias.

Otherwise, lets sum this up, he wants people to back him and this is all the info we have:

- He couldn't hold his own at 15/30, and is now playing 5/10

- He can't afford a proper car

- He wants to enter hi buyin tourneys, and it sounds like this would be his first time in those.

- His bankroll could cover it all, but he is not confidant enough to put it on the line, so he is asking us to risk it instead.

- He has no rapport here as this was his first post, coming here to ask for money.

Its gottta be a joke......even if someone were to come here looking for investors, they would at least put on a better pitch than what it says above.

Is this legal in Minnesota? It sounds like a great out for a hooker.

"But ossifur, I seen it inna 2+2 formnum thredd. Guy jus' offers a piece'a hisself for a cuppla bucks. Don't see no diffrunce in whut ah'm doin'."
