Re: the best poker posters on the market
They look nice, I'd probably buy one.

Re: the best poker posters on the market
Meh, neat looking stuff but I guess I'd say it looks a bit corporate.
I'm a big fan of the Coolidge dogs and poker series. I'm also a fan of the Godard gaming themed prints. For the price, your stuff looks good and your friend should definitely make some money off of those. |

I like how you can choose up to three answers on his two-answer poll.

Not bad. IMO, poker shirts and posters and stuff are cheese. This cheese doesn't smell as bad as most though.

Re: the best poker posters on the market
The "Deal" one is pretty good. The other two are gay. This post smells like spam to me.

Are you looking for a poker poster to put in your home cardroom, bedroom, or dorm room? I am selling some on my web site. [/ QUOTE ] FYP The posters are decent, but you might as well come forward with what you're doing. |
Re: the best poker posters on the market
I have to admit that most of this poker paraphernalia embarrasses me. A T-shirt that say "THE NUTZ" on it, a hat that says "ALL IN" or a wall hanging that says "TEXAS HOLD'EM ROYAL FLUSH" with a skeleton in a cowboy hat cackling...I don't know. I mean isn't it enough to just play the game?
I mean, I like to play Backgammon...do I really want a poster that says "GAMMPWN3D!" or "NO DOUBLING IN THE CRAWFORD ROUND, MUTHAF**KER!!" hanging in my living room? (actually...) |
Re: the best poker posters on the market
So that absolute "nuts" poster, is that like "nuts I have a straight, but this other guy probably has a full house and he's pushing all his chips at me? wouldn't it make more sense to have homeboy flop the straight and then put down the jack and 10 on the turn and river?
Or maybe the guy should just have the nuts so I don't have to puzzle out the meaning of it. Bah. |
Re: the best poker posters on the market
He has a Royal Flush. That would be "The Absolute Nuts".

If you have the money, get some original art. You can find decent stuff on eBay for around $100 if you're patient. If you have to go with a gambling theme, I would go for posters of the Las Vegas Strip at night, the Bellagio fountains, etc., instead. |
Re: the best poker posters on the market
For instance, here are some samples available on eBay:
old school downtown LV (B&W photo) arial shot of strip arial shot near stratosphere Paris and Bally's (daytime) edit - almost missed this one strip at night |
Re: the best poker posters on the market

"GAMMPWN3D!" [/ QUOTE ] You MUST make this. I picture it as a young, WPT looking guy wearing a hat and sunglasses... perhaps a hoodie, pointing at you with the "pwned" look on his face. |
Re: the best poker posters on the market
lol
I'll look into it. :-P |
Re: the best poker posters on the market
This is giving me the germ of a really twisted idea. Thanks for the inspiration.
