Most animal groups are called herds, or packs, or schools, etc.

But a group of rhinos is called a crash.

That's awesome.

Those are some great ones, Jacki. I had never heard of a "flink" before, and I'm sure I never will again.

I've always loved "a murder of crows" and "an unkindness of ravens."

I think there's a funny name for penguins too but can't remember what it is.

Interestingly, almost everything that isn't just a normal term like pack is either really cool and imaginative or outright funny. The variations aren't dull or pedestrian at all.

There is no specific name for a group of penguins, however a group of penguins in the water is often called a raft because they "raft" together.

a comfort of cats
a cowardice of curs...wtf is a cur?
a pod of dolphins
a cackle of hyenas

A cur is a dog, I think a poorly bred one. Like lowly and mangy.
