Week 2 FF Starters
 

Hopefully we can contain these types of questions to one thread, at least for a bit.

My starters right now are sitting at:

QB: K. Warner v. St. Louis
RB: S. Alexander v. Atlanta
WR: T. Holt @ Arizona, L. Fitzgerald v. St. Louis
Flex: J. Arrington v. St. Louis
TE: M. Pollard @ Chicago
Bench: M. Anderson v. San Diego, A. Lelie v. San Diego, E. Mannin @ NO, E. Conwell v. NYG
Kick: J. Scobee @ Indy
DEF: Pitt @ Houston

My only real question is whether to start Lelie or Arrington. I'm leaning towards Arrington just because RBs are usually so much more productive.

you have no question here, to be honest. Go with arrington until denny demand ship in the game.

I'd go Johnson, but consider Bell too. Johnson is my gut decision choice.

Go with Johnson. Anderson may get some carries, cutting into Bell's time.

As a disclaimer I'm a total FF newb, just playing in a free league with my buddies, but pride is worth more than any money. My WRs sucked it up for me last week, just wondering if anyone would make a change. Pick 3 of the 5 for me:

L. Coles v Mia
R. Smith v San Diego
D. Branch @ Car

Keyshawn is also an available free agent...

Since losing Jevon Walker I need to start a new 3rd receiver to with Jimmy Smith and Steve Smith. My choices are Antonio Bryant vs. GB or Santana Moss vs. Dal.

Pennington v Miami (in NY)
Greise v Buffalo (in TB)
Bledsoe v DC (in Dallas)

If Pennington were on my roster and I could not get away with beating him to death I would at least cut him. Starting him would never enter my mind.

C. Williams (at home vs. Buffalo)
W. Parker (at Houston)
Lamont Jordan (Home vs. KC)


ITs probably a decision btw Jordan and Parker.

I hate hate hate playing two backs from the same team unless there are special circumstances. Its like getting the production of one player while using up two spots. I'd start Jordan.

Seriously. He also completed 62% of this passes and had two touchdowns dropped. Dropping him after week 1 would not be a smart move given mantooth's other QB's. People who tend to make big changes on their rosters after watching 1 week of football generally don't do well in fantasy.

Being stacked with RB's is a good thing. Don't trade unless someone offers you a serious upgrade to one of your starters.

I would start Parker based on the defenses, but I'm also a Steelers fan.

I picked up Miami's defense for this week in one league. Detroit not a bad option, but Miami's defense is better and the Jets & Pennington had a helluva time holding onto the football last week.

LOL, no it's a 10 team league. Portis at 33rd overall, edge slipped to me at 8. A few first time FF players.....so who should I start?

The RB situation is iffy, but I'd go with Westbrook. The WR situation is definitly clearer, and I think the 3 clear choices are Holt, Fitzgerald, and Jimmy Smith (at indy)

Man, I've got questions all over the place. First off at RB -- need to start two of the following three:
S. Alexander vs. Atlanta
J. Jones vs. Washington
B. Westbrook vs. SF

Then at WR I definitely have Chad Johnson and Isaac Bruce starting...and I'd normally have Andre Johnson, but man the Texans looked bad against the Buffalo D last week...and it doesn't get any easier this week against Pittsburgh. Other options instead of Andre Johnson include:
Jerry Porter vs. KC
Chris Chambers vs. NYJ
Derrick Mason vs. Ten

Any help at all would be much appreciated!

Michael Pittman would be a waste of a starter. Keyshan might have an impressive outing vs the Redskins. I also see good things happening to Roy Williams. He will get touches.
