in my conference, grisgra in in and myself and nlsoldier are tied vying for the last sopt, the other two teams are out. i believe nls would win the tiebreaker between us if it came to that.

in the other conference, i have no idea.

edit: other team captains really should have been keeping track of this stuff to know where their team stands.

I'm not sure if I counted those in my 1-2, so I will still need to get a final but if you two lost and I lost that's 3 losses and therefore, a loss for the week [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img]

While we all agree Evan is way too short, I think that the captains have done a less than awesome job of running stuff, using subs and in general keeping things order.

Also this might have been the worst possible time to hold this (with school starting and everybody vacationing and stuff), which I guess we can blame on Evan.

Also, apparently my team is in the playoffs, does this mean I've already made money, can I go buy a TV?

I don't know how "most captains" have done. But I feel I've done a good job--and by that, I don't mean I've always gone above and beyond to make sure everything was done on time because I think a lot of responsibility falls on the players. The players signed up for this and they should care about it. Tough love people, I'm not here to coddle, I'm here to get results.

Aren't we feeling a little frisky? I at least have to give you brownie points for stepping up and matching up against me. This should be good. With my teams playoff hopes riding on my match, there will be no mercy. I'm sure though you wouldn't want it any other way. Hit me up on AIM at some point, I can play after say 9:30-10:00 EDT pretty much any night as long as I know in advance. Well set up a day when you give me a shout. I wont be home until probably 8 or so, and wont be online until 9:30 at least.

ditto. But funny part is I was in three awesome games last night and found myself down 2400 in 2 hours. But down only 1100 in 2.5 hours. I'm really flexible with nights, we have almost a week to get it in, so Im pretty sure we can get it worked out. Im usually on from at least 10-12 usually 9:30-12 lately. Give me a shout when you get time.

I don't see why Schneids should be bothered to kick Soiler's ass. I'll do it myself.

How do the playoffs work?
 

I understand that the payoffs will be 50/30/20 . . . fair enough. But how will the games work?

May I suggest that instead of 5 matches, picked by the team with the best record (and there may be no such team) that each team captain pick 5 matchups, for a total of 10 games? In the event of a 5-5 tie, the captains play off for the gold.

btw- nobody should take anything I've said in this thread more than 28% seriously. Especially Evan who rules but would rule more if he came to Vegas in November.

Trix beats King Yao in about 20 minutes. I don't think I ever had the lead at any point. Downhill from the very beginning. My final record is a pitiful 1-5. Is the end or do I have to suffer another week?
