What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
When I played starcract I always enjoyed reading interviews of the best players, so I was thinking about conducting some. Which players from 2+2 would you like to interview and what questions might you ask them? thanks!

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Actually I think you would make for a good interview given your l33t 20 tabling skillz.
But if it were someone else I think ML4L or Strassa would be a good choice for NL and Mike l and Bicyclekick for limit. Lawrence |
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
spicyf, that would make for a great interview...
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I don't know who you could choose, but this would be a very cool idea. Hopefully you could get interviews from the top players in all of the games.

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I think it's a fairly nifty idea as well.
If I ever get going on the whole Pod-Cast thing I might consider doing some interviews over the phone and putting them out there for whoever is interested. (radio background prior to poker...so I'm comfortable interviewing others...I'm no Charlie Rose or Bob Costas, but I'm not entirely terrible either). I think BicycleKick and/or Schneids could be interesting. Somebody like Tommy Angelo and some of those other guys who play live B&M at limits a bit beyond my current reach could be good too. and I suspect Gigabet would be a good one as well. |
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
More votes for BK, Schneids, Gigabet,
I'd say maybe Yugo or Clarkmeister since they always seem to have something useful to say. |
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
does Zee count?
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I don't know if he fits the "multi-tabling" criterion, but El Diablo is the first one who springs to mind.

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I would certainly like to hear a first hand account of the Vehn Saga.
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I'd like a long interview with Schneids.
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Hey bob, the podcasting idea is great! Would love to hear you do some interviews and have them up as a podcast.
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Schneids, BicycleKick, El Diablo, and Clarkmeister would be my votes.
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Schneids, astroglide, Nate, El D, bruiser.
|
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Just realized that this was posted in the general forum, not HUSH. Well I'm a big fat jerk . . . still, I vote Schneids/rory .

DERB
Question : "What do you know about poker what other people doesnt" Seriously. Shneids, Bicyclekick, James, Strassa, KKF123, cero_z... I would be intersted in poker stuff : handling common situations, reads, frequencies of bluffing etc... but I doubt these guys are interesting in talking about that. |

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I'm going to think about it.
Right now I know virtually nothing about pod-casting (and don't own an I-Pod). but a friend of mine is pretty info it and is starting his own pod-cast (even wants to bring me in for an interview at some point). So I can ask him to show me how it works and I might move forward with it. No promises though...but it's something I've been thinking about. Obviously the commitment I wanted to put forth would be up to me. Even just 4 or 5 interviews of 5-10 minutes I think would be interesting to some. As long they don't turn all Tommy Lasorda on me (meaning getting all red-faced and spitting all over my microphone because they REALLY hate the designated-hitter and don't really like inter-league play either) then I think we could be in business. |

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I would choose daryn ie Foxy Player..(I'm not sure if it's always him playing his account or Eugene)...Why because he is young, has pushed himself up into some of the bigger/biggest games online and he's done it fast, he also plays a variety of games well ie MTT's, ring games-LHE short and full and some NLHE. Would make for an interesting interview to read how he moved up so fast-I'm sure Eugene has had a big influence on him, how his MTT's cashes allowed him to play higher ring games. He's also very cocky so it would be entertaining.

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I also wonder if he likes making out with random guys who post on internet poker message boards.
Either way this is a nice love letter. |
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Daryn quit poker for craps.

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
another guy that would be interesting to interview is TylerD. I assume he is Tyler Durben I could be wrong..he plays a ton of different games and limits -he's not a superstar but he grinds it hard ..anything from LHE to PLO..I like the variety of games he plays and he's obviously making big $$.
I'd rather see an interview from a guy who works hard as an online 2/3/4 year mid-limit pro and wants to share his experience a bit than just another superstar. The grinder's interview thu less sexy is more informative for me at least. |

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
The correct answer is Nikla because:
1) He's a Norsk and can tell lots of stories about all the Norwegian poker players who by-and-large dominate the high stakes online scene of today. There's plenty of gossip to be had. 2) He's a pimp with the ladies and has some unbelievable tales with them. 3) Plus he's really really good at poker. |

I decided earlier this week to worship Jeff W. as my poker god, so him.
(seriously, I love the way he writes about the game) |
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
I'd like to hear Limon's interview, and for me that's not a close decision as a no limit player.

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Just about anyone already mentioned (esp. Nikla) I would be happy with just so long as it is not some lame assed interview like most end up being with the interviewer kissing the interviewie's ass.

Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
Lollers is FoxyPlayer really Daryn? Because if so I was just watching him play 300/600 against thunderkeller and get pwned by runner-runners and 2-outers for around 10k.
Anyways, my point is that, suddenly, in the middle of a hand, FoxyPlayer said, "Q heart 5 diamond...this is the last hand of poker I will ever play." FoxyPlayer then folded Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]5[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] face up and sat out. thunderkeller said, "sorry, runnin hot" and FoxyPlayer responded, "no, you are world class / gg sir" thunder replied, "gg" and re-bought back down to 10k. That's what happened and if that's daryn that's sad because I like daryn and didn't want him to lose 10k. |
Re: What high-limit multi-tabling Moguls from 2+2 would you interview?
FoxyPlayer on UB = Chipmovr from Pstars 100/200 and is not Daryn
I was confused about this a little while ago too. |

[/ QUOTE ] easiest question ever and everybody is stupid so far for not answering w/ JAsucker. seriously...ray zee picks him for his poker team or whatever (ray gave him props) and i dont care if he multitables or not. he is the answer. i talk to the 3 guys most quoted in this thread a lot but ive learned the most from james. playing those 4 out of 6 30 tables w/ himon im taught me a WHOLE lot. but i'll still give props to BK and schneider because they do indeed know what they're talkin about. james just happened to be the one to teach me the most. the person id most like to interview who is a specialist multitabler though is NYplayer. and i mean a real interview where he has to answer all my questions ... seriuosly, if he writes something (which he does only rarely) on the boatd, everybody should at LEAST think hard about why he's asking and what it means. so in sum. JASucker if its allowed. NYplayer as the internet player. Barron |
