Joe Pesci
What happened to Joe Pesci? He hasn't been a movie in the past six years.
This is not a joke post. My friend and I made this discovery about Mr. Pesci the other day and not even the wide world o' Google could reveal the answer. |
Re: Joe Pesci
at least he quit on a good note, unlike Robert DeNiro.

After "Gone Fishin'", I can't blame him.

Re: Joe Pesci
Saw him at the Hard Rock in Vegas about two-three years ago. Since then, we have lost contact with each other.

Re: Joe Pesci
Didn't you watch Casino? He was buried alive with Dominic in a cornfield.

Re: Joe Pesci
To my great sorrow, Scorcese seems over his DeNiro phase and firmly into Dicaprio now. That cuts out Pesci's best opportunities.
What a shame. Pesci is a hell of a lot of fun. I wouldn't mind seeing him in quite a few more movies. |
Re: Joe Pesci
im pretty sure that if pesci wanted to do a movie that he would and could. i really cannot possibly imagine him having trouble getting roles.

[/ QUOTE ] Well, there are roles...and then, there are roles. He could pull a Michael Caine and do absolutely any movie that would pay him. It looks like he's decided not to, though. Pesci is very much a "type." Though he can do both drama and comedy, he needs just the right vehicle. I'm not sure how many people are pulling the Pesci roles out from under him before he gets to them. There just aren't that many leading roles like that, and he's not necessarily a leading role type of guy. |
Re: Joe Pesci
