Gigantic 30/60 pot, 51.5 bb\'s

Since the hand converter is not working, I'll try to summarize. I'm in the BB and pick up TT. First 4 limp, LP raises, button and SB fold. I 3bet hoping to knock a few out, UTG calls, suddenly tricky donkish MP caps, everyone calls??? 6 to the flop: Js-6d-Ts.

I check, UTG checks, donk bets, 2 calls, LP raiser raises, I raise. Now it gets odd - UTG caps, everyone calls.

Question: What do you put UTG on here? Flush draw? 2 pair? Trip 6's?

Turn: Qh. I bet, raise, raise, capped before it even gets back to the original LP raiser. Everyone calls.

River: 2c. I lead again - silly? UTG raises again, donk is all-in at this point, other dude calls, now original raiser just calls. Call or raise?

I agree w/Flawless. Pot's so big preflop, once you flop trips I'm just capping away until there's something like TJQK or a four-flush on board.

those who say keep raising on the river are retarded.

no offense.

capped this whole way. there are 2 higher sets out there and AK is the nuts.

for the love of god those are the most likely hands people have in capped pots.

get to the showdown.

the ONLY + for raising here is that nobody is folding anything in this pot (calling frequencies are over 99%)

I call the river and buy a used Hyundai with the pot.

Just for your sake, I'm going to guess that one has AA, one has 66, and the donk has Q9.

BTW/ i love how everyone thinks theyre cool because they can make fun of my first post which was clearly sarcastic...
looks like UTG has a sucker straight and the PFR has an overset, but id still go ahead and call getting 50:1... who cares?

No Hyundai for me. Original raiser had AA - ahh they can never lay that down can they? Donk had 89 for a straight, figured someone in there for that. But the one that got me - UTG had AK. Dude didn't even raise it preflop, then gets all frisky w/ a gutshot? I figured him for 66 or KQ. To make things even more painful, one of the other guys had QJ, so the turds hit one of their 3 Q's...

God I would have loved to fill this one up...

And regarding the river raise. Obviously no flushes. And I was not worried about JJ or QQ, since the latter half of the field slowed down. Damn the straights. I led hoping everyone went bonkers w/ a flush draw, but just called the raise.

I'd put UTG on A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and slow down. In fact, I probably just check-call the river.

You don't think UTG would have raised AKs preflop?

Ahh oops, thought it was UTG who limped capped. Ok well, I guess since he didn't raise at all, I'd put him on 98, maybe with the spades. And if MP limp-capper 3-bet or capped the turn, I'd be scared he has the AK.

I was expecting 89, TJ, QJ and a big PP, but my mouth dropped when I saw AK from UTG. Never saw it coming.

You have to get away from your preflop read when you have convincing evidence to the contrary - namely the turn action.

AK/K9/89/higher set are definitely likely on the turn.

Not really. People go bonkers in pots like this. I pretty much had everyone nailed except AK. Tricky donk is smart enough to cap a good multiway hand like 89s. Guy behind him would stay in w/ a draw (and 2 pair), but he wasn't driving action. Poor button, you could practically hear him crying over the net with each call. But AK? Ultra passive preflop and suddenly he turns into a maniac w/ a gutshot and overpair?

I'm not sure what you are saying. If the donk has 89s he beats you. Are you saying should I raise the river because dI probably have utg beat and donk is all-in?

If so, imo...no, don't raise the river. UTG can see just like you that the turn was capped. Yet he raises you again on the river. If he doesn't have a set of tens beat then he's a maniac.

I'm saying I wasn't 100% sure I was beat until UTG raised the river. That and I expected 89 instead of AK. But damn you have to call 1 bet just in case...
