bday gift for mom...
 

i hate shopping for gifts for my family. i never have any idea what to get them. what should i get my mom for her birthday? i'm thinking something along the lines of a gift card, because you don't have to wrap those. (wrapping gifts = hell)

any thoughts on where to get the gift card to and/or simple gifts that moms will appreciate? (i'll put it in a gift bag to avoid wrapping)

if she likes to shop, gift card to Nordstrom's, but don't be cheap because stuff at that store isn't and she should be able to get something with the card, not part of something.

not sure where you live or what may be around you in the way of day spas, but a facial / massage / treatment type gift cert. is a good way to go.

Gotta echo the post for the day spa cerificate. That's become an annual gift for mom on her birthday as well as mother's day and she loves it.

Other than that you can't go wrong with Bed, Bath and Beyond.

are you talking about a place like Michell's? do they have those around you? would a $40-50 gift card from there be a good gift?

I think your mom would enjoy some quality time with you and her family. Take her out for a nice dinner or even cook for her, get her a nice birthday cake, and after you finish singing the birthday song, give your mom a big kiss on the cheek.

Mom's will love that.
