We are really looking forward to having Mike on the show this Sunday. Has he ever given a boring interview?

BTW, the show is now a podcast as well. Just submitted it tonite, so i'm not sure exactly when it will be listed in the podcast directories.

Ask him to elaborate a little on the "to be a great player, you can't have any respect for money" statement he is always making. Also, how do great players handle the huge downswings that are inevitable.

some of my favorites:

while sitting in the 25/50 NL: "who would ever leave this cherry patch?"

on neverwin playing HU limit: you 3-bet me on the flop stone dead and hit.

also on neverwin: all you do is raise raise raise and hit gin

Ask him how we learned the game, if he would recommend a poker book or did he just improve through playing tons of hands.

I'd like to know how he mentally prepares for big tournaments. Also, what type of player is he? I mean, other than what we've seen from television, what is his insight into the game? How does he make reads on people? Does he play be feel or more logical?

Ask him if he's more of a tournament player or a cash game player and with who he plays cash games and at what limits/games.

Ask him how he knew to make that call w/ AJ high today in this huge 17k pot on 50/100$ NL. The board was super scary, like 6889 with three hearts or something like that and a guy moved in on him for like 14k more and he called (correctly) with ace high. The man has balls of steel

Does he still consider Omaha 8/b to be his best game?

Has he started to focus more on No Limit Hold'em because the games are so donkified?

What would his favorite mix of games be if he was given the choice for a high limit mixed game?

Sorry. I thought that that was a name of a Table at UB that he plays under. Thanks for the info.

ask him why he constantly min. raises pre-flop and then full pots the flop and gives up to aggession. ask him why he plays so many short sessions online. and then make sure to ask if he has nightmares about hasan slask or if he wakes up in cold sweats thinking about 30K+ pots that he loses to 23s.
