WTF! Went to edit my pokerroom ad to promote the Grand3 tourney and saw it wasnt my ad! When did this happen?

Funny you should say that, this is the first time anything of "mine" has been hacked and I got to thinking that while I am sure poker sites and neteller are a lot more secure, it is still worrisome. I think it may be time for a cashout spree [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] I think the implications are rather scary

i can't imagine they bought the classifieds because chuck would have told us.

and if it is a hack and they are legit site, then they will never get our business and they should be shut down.

if this www.onlinepokermentors.com is a legit site, then i vote it is simply an error and not a hack.

i actuaslly had already gone back to make the link not work.

it is a SMEAR campaign in the making.

if it is a hack, then i will scream their name as hackers. if it is simply an error, no harm done cuz' my links in my posts won't work.

i have not gone to the site. i am afraid of what i would get. has anyone visited this URL? does it seem legit?

Interesting...... the 3rd to last ad is a little different, but about Eurobet, and by the same website. Maybe a newbie was editing their ad, and clicked on a magic button??

did you see that funky HTML code in the 'images' field?

that must have done it. how it changed all 100+, i do not know. but, i have never seen those HTML codes used like that.

this was in all the 'images' fields
<font color="red">&lt;a href+ </font>

i know these codes, but not in that combo. everything else was just text

Just do a Google search for "twoplustwo.com classifieds" and then click "Cache" after the description. That will give you Google's cache of the page and make it really easy to redo your ads exactly.

The only way to be fixed is to log into your accounts and edit your listings and banners.
By this way you remove the mentor from your listing [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Anybody try to contact the owner of the "offending site" and see what he says?

Any idea that the software for the classifieds might have a bug in it that caused this?

Just some ideas.

I am prepared for the avalanche of "are you the perp?" responses.

Well OPM have 1 ad, so it must have been a mistake and not a hack.

I have helped OPM with a few basic tech issues, I cant imagine they could hack the 2+2 classifieds. My money is on that this is a script error or some sort of server error. I guess Chuck will give us the whole story soon.
