Folded around to hero who raises to 40 on a steal
This had been my standard raise on the other 2 hands I had played.

SB folds
BB calls for 30

Flop is

Pot is 85 and hero makes a continuation bet of 50 as a semi bluff hoping for a fold but still live vs any hand with the OESD.

Villain calls.
Pot is 185
Turn is 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Success! Time to build the pot and start charging for draws

Villain leads out for 50
Hero reraises to 150
Villain calls
Pot is 485

River is K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

My straight is still good but I have just been outdrawn by the flush so I have to guess.

Villain pushes for his remaining 550. Calling leaves me with 95 chips. Who calls here? Results will be posted later.

I'd raise more on the turn because almost anything he has will call. After that the river plays itself.

I don't disagree with that. This MTT doesn't get enough replies however to call it official or make it a sticky.
