I'll edit this thread with hands when I am done playing (i'm doing the Nano portion for the $10, [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img] ) but how do I only show hands in a certain date range?

Just bought poker tracker this afternoon

Click on Preferences, and on that page you'll see the date range. You can also tell PT who you are on that page on the bottom left.

Rules:

1) The challenge will last 30 days.
2) You may play either 0.25/0.5, 0.5/1, or 1/2, where ever you can win the most money.
3) You must post your PokerTracker stats for the month.
4) You may play as many hands as you want, as long as the number (over 30 days) exceeds 5000 (preferably 10000).
5) You may on any site.
6) Whoever has the best winrate from July 30th to August 29th wins.

I think I'm gonna participate in this. I had about 11,000 hands over last month and a half at .25/.50 and won about 2.11bb/100. I know, whopping number right? lol at least I didn't lose money! Not at that limit at least. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

How do you get the images? I'm assuming you take a screenshot and edit it in paint? I dunno where to host it but I'll try to post one.

I take a screenshot, cut out the relevant portion in Photoshop 7.0, create a new image of the relevant portion. Upload image to my web space and insert it with ubb <font class="small">Code:</font><hr /><pre> [img]URL HERE[/img] </pre><hr /> tags.

You need your own web space or a friends.

Anyone else going for nano? I realize the month is young but I need to see other competitors to give me more incentive : )

I'm playing the .25/.50 and maybe .50/1 level, but maybe I'll 12 table the nanos to 5,000 hands just to play it, and work on my multitabling skills.

Gosh...i'm not updating that picture until i'm back in the positive, this is getting downright embarassing...

Lost a capped on every street pot holding pocket Kings, to a guy whos pocket 5s hit a set on the RIVER...ridiculous..

I just lost another 6 BBs to a guy holding 4 of a kind, and i'm negative on my initial deposit, not just the last two days now!

Dangit hemstock, I will fight you tooth and nail for this. It's a $10 prize. I assume he is going by the honor system? I don't plan on cheating as this is mostly to incite myself to play better because I am publishing my results. 10 bucks isn't a ton of money, lol.

Updated my pic above (will continue to do so), took a downswing and an upswing and now I'm almost dead even where I was 1000 hands ago moneywise. Oh well, my 8.9BB/100 was fun while it lasted.

Ok, moving more off-topic, can anyone help me make this entire row (the player summary row) be displayed in PT without needing to scrool? No matter how big I make my TP window (and it's big at 1600x1200 on a 19" monitor) I can't seem to change the PT window size. If I maximize the Ring Game Player Statistics Window I get lots of empty space to the right and bottom of my PT stats.

Any help?

Baronzeus, when you say Min 5k but 'preferably' 10k, what do you mean exactly...By the time I hit 5k I'll be thinking of taking a shot at .25/.50 (Not to mention the fact that I won't be able to play a single hand of poker between August 18th and August 30th!)

Because a 5K winrate means even less than a 10K winrate, which means nothing. I've broken even for 10K + hands and also ran 5BB+ for the same hands

The more hands you play, the better.

Updated my image in the earlier post. I'm at +3.6 BB / 100 over 2,491 hands. I haven't been able to play as many hands as I've wanted since my 2nd computer had a hard drive crash. I'll still make the 5k for the challenge.

I switched down to .5/1 to clear the party poker bonus and ran up to 9.18 BB / 100. Winning over 100 BB while clearing a bonus is good. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Oh yeaaa. I think I must play poker a lot more than some of you... this was all done within the past week. 4-tabling for an hour everyday. Sometimes two or three of these one-hour sessions in the day.
