Good drinks with cigars
 

So Im heading to a cigar bar after work and wanted to know if anyone has a good suggestion for something to drink along with a cigar.

If you enjoy a red wine, order a big hearty Zinfandel. Big Zins and cigars are made for each other and neither is as good without the other, IMO.

I think this is the current leader from the suggestions. But I intend to try multiple things. Thanks guys.

Port is awesome with cigars, really mellows the smoke out, its a much different experience in my opinion.

If you don't want something with alcohol in it, a Gatorade X-Factor Fruit Punch + Berry goes very good with a cigar.

I will try that next time Im out golfing but tonight we will be at a bar so this is more alcohol focused.

listen to this man. There's a wide range of possibilities here. Check out this forum for more info. Do not drink gatorade or any sort of juice with a good cigar...please...

If you're going to do it "right", I'd definitely say single malt Scotch, neat of course. Other whiskey is OK too. A good port is also really nice as is a deep red wine.

If you have a cheap cigar and are goofing off with friends in the backyard, go with the Gatorade or whatever I guess.

Are you eating?
I usually start off with a manhattan, then transition to a rum with a splash of coke, if I just got done eating. A good red wine is always a great choice. If Im not eating before hand, I like Bourbon, specificallyl Buffalo Trace, on the rocks.
