Forum moderator
It has been suggested this forum needs a moderator. I suppose the moderator could handle issues such as:
Duplicate threads Dead Whoever is interested, please say so. Hopefully we can whittle the candidates down to a few (one being optimal) and then take it to Mat. I don't see why he would object to the idea, unless the account name "Dead" is his. |

So far the nominations are:
Voltron (self and armchair) Armchair(self, jack) Jack (me) I think a person has to agree to being nominated in order for it to matter. That way the position isn't wasted. I think one of the main problems is threads being created just to get other people agitated (with exception to current threads, such as bisons. a grandfather rule should be put in place) |

Basically, no flame wars, no overt idiocy, no spam, and if someone posts about pickles, move it to OOT (unless he really did mean "pickles as in rundowns"). Bison's thread stays because it's huge. On edit: Also, to thumbtack and officialize (my own word) threads dealing with a current, significant sporting event, so that we don't have seventy-two different Super Bowl threads. |

Look, I don't want to get into an argument about me offering to help. I acknowledged there would be more than a couple people who wouldn't like the idea. But I can also tell you I would never consider banning anyone for something they said in a chat room (TimeIsUp). So, yeah... if you guys want me to help out, I will. But I won't be surprised or at all upset if nobody wants me to. |
