Respect to those who 8-table regularly..

I just tried it in the $11's (well, first 7 tables then 8) and bloody hell, it's hard. still 7 ITM finishes (5 2nd, 2 3rd) isn't a bad start. Just so hard to keep track of the constant 'bings' and moving your mouse all over the shop.

I think I need a lie-down now.

I tell you, having played Warcraft3 at a high level for two years really helps with your mousespeed and ability to see and analyze things quickly.

Tough at 1st, easy after a while.
2 tabling used to be tough for me. Now I can 8 table in my sleep. But I am usually not ITM 7 out of 8.

It was tough at first now a breeze, I first start off 4 tabling check email and all other crap I gotta do since 4 is slow as anything. I remember first trying 4 tables and it being tough. With time becomes second nature.

I'm not 8-tabling yet, but my preparations include programming of playing without mouse moving. I have plenty of buttons (for calling, folding, changing table) and my wheel moves in 4 directions (for raising). I should be able to 20-table when it's done.

Did you read my mind? I was going to write something to do this in an AutoHotKey script.

Yes, I read minds in my free time. Good for my poker career.

what was yer preferred ffa race? i did an interesting thing with NE when APs were good and built about 23058092385028095 of them and walked them around and raped everyone. i had one of the highest FFA win percentages of anyone in the top 10 ever i think. took too long and was boring though.. holla

Re: Respect to those who 8-table regularly..

I'm the same way, I had one of my friends in shock who plays pretty high nl games when he watched me 8 table. The amount of tables haven't even become a problem thanks to all my training on WC3. Although I used to be a RT/AT player up to 4v4 and only got ranked in the top 100 somewhere. You FFA players are gross.

Re: Respect to those who 8-table regularly..

I perfected orc and got to something like a 14-0 rec in ffa, which isn't impressive for 1v1 but for FFA was awesome. Then blizzard raped the bat riders and I couldn't deal with armies made entirely of heavy air so i switched to humans and made a comeback to get into the top 10. I used pretty much every unit with humans.
