\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/22)

Tonight's show should be the usual big game, 10/20 NL 1k min/no max buyin. Hopefully the power surge problems that plagued last night's show won't happen tonight and we'll get 4 hours of thrilling poker.

Is it working tonight? I'm just getting the highlights clip again.

Diablo not wearing the same shirt and look at his stack

Finally hes not wearing that omega plumbing shirt. With that stack, the game should be good.

Re: Diablo not wearing the same shirt and look at his stack

I liked the beginning where Bart/Tuch are shown before play started. I thought Diablo had a new shirt on too, then they showed him from behind and he was wearing his usual shirt. I wonder where Jonas/Gor are tonight.

Ah good working:)

And a big Lebowski mention!!

Re: Diablo not wearing the same shirt and look at his stack

I've read Hachem's name pronounced "HAH-shem", "Hash-im", but I'll have to look around further to verify that.

New camera angle and what I thought the announcers would look like

namasi is playing horribly

that AT hand was friggin terrible.

Re: namasi is playing horribly

WTF? This guy in seat 3 needs to start showing some real hands pretty soon.

If he keeps playing like this, he's gonna have Namasi left.

Mexican poker related

I was working security at this place once, and there was a crew of contractors which was all hispanic. I know a small bit of spanish, not fluent, but I got to be friends with them. Poker came up and we ended up having a game after hours. I agreed to play one buyin mexican style, and one buyin of NL hold'em.

First I was astonished when they removed the 8's 9's and 10's (they didnt play with jokers) And then they played it like 5 card draw, with no minimum hand requirements. Needless to say it was more of a "gamble" and figuring the odds was not the same. I think I played pretty horribly at it, and that combined with one of the guys getting what appeared to be pretty good cards had me out in that game.

Just figured I'd mention that they also play it 5 card draw style.

Re: namasi is playing horribly

LOL its a tough call if you know what you are doing. Its a relatively easy call when you haven't got a clue at the table.

Kevmath 07-22-2005 09:56 PM

Re: namasi is playing horribly

Have you thought about doing a picture in picture thing so that we can see you two commentate while the hand is going on. I'm sure many of us would like to see Bart going nuts on any sort of big hand.

Also, are you sure it's not "Hey Zeus" instead of Jesus?

And what kind of play is that, hitting your 2 outer and it goes check-call, check-check on the river.

Publos Nemesis 07-22-2005 09:59 PM

Re: namasi is playing horribly

again, again, and again. 2 outer on the turn????

Russ McGinley 07-22-2005 09:59 PM

Re: namasi is playing horribly

Good idea, dunno if their software can do it though.

Looks like another brutal suckout by Namasi coming.

Namasi will win this hand with a flush, calling it.

Guys (commentators), plz stop trying to make sense of Hanasi or whatever his name is - heŽs a complete donkey, youŽll never figure him out .
What would be good entertainment though would be to interview him, so people could learn how a fish thinks

DAMN! It was red too. Namasi is challenging Francisco and Steve for The Bike's All-Time Biggest Donkey Award. I hope he has a lot of cash.

Namasi go bye bye

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/22)

I'm sure there's been bigger pots, remember the "running the river three times" moment with Mike and Jonas? I think that was over 10k. I think Francisco was involved in some large pots that he won, then later lost.

Russ McGinley 07-22-2005 10:18 PM

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/22)

The hand Gor won with the flush against AK, AQ, KK, or whatever against Francisco was a monster pot around $8k if I remember correctly.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/22)

I didn't follow the action on the 45[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] vs AQ[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] there.. why wasn't the first hand all in on the turn again?

dabigbadrook 07-22-2005 10:23 PM

I like Mark\'s 250 bet on river

I think that a bet much larger than that then Alan folds. Good bet Mark

dabigbadrook 07-22-2005 10:26 PM

Cant blame the playmate this time!!!

Screen is black again, others having problems?

Re: I like Mark\'s 250 bet on river

What if Mark had checked the nut flush? then he can let the smaller flush bet (which he has to) and reraise a bit over the minimum.

he can reasonably put the other guy on a flush draw. the only other hand possibly staying in on the turn right?

Alan is good enough to know that he only gets called if he is beat. Seat 5 knows that alan is good player

I saw that Eveliene.

Wow monster hand.
