KK on A flop 3 way

1/2 6 max

Hero is CO with K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

UTG raises, folded to Hero who 3 bets, Button calls, UTG calls, blinds fold

Flop (3 players, 10 SB)

A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG bets, Hero?

What is the plan for the rest of the hand and why? HU I would just call this down, but three handed?

I think raise is best on flop - UTG may as well have 99/88/TT then A-something.
And my quess is in 1/2 gay bets mean more often weak hands then a strong ones.

No reads at all? With the button still to act I might fold this flop.

Reads: No particular read. They are very standard 1/2 6 max players. I don't think anyone of them would fold a A here, I am not sure about TT-QQ.

why raise to drive out hands with very little outs?

Call this down and expect to see 7s and straight draws pretty often. If they check anywhere, start betting.

I'm curious what constitutes a "gay bet."

You're right though, when someone leads out like that they are likely not that strong. But that doesn't mean he isn't leading out with a weak A4.

I probably raise and either check the turn then call the river, or bet the turn and hope to check the river. (Essentially I call it down but use the extra small bet to save me a big bet.... and if the guy behind me calls the raise then I'm done with the hand.)

straight draws? From the preflop raiser or the 3-bet coldcaller?

I misread it a bit but youll see a lower PP here pretty often

I'm surprised by the lack of consensus on this hand. What do you guys do in this situation vs various opponents?

If you're going to play on the flop, it would be best to raise.

If the button calls, just let it go on the turn.

If he folds, go to a cheap showdown.

very good thought. I still raise to possibly get a free showdown or a discounted showdown, and to see where im at really.

I folded in a situation very similar to this the other day.

Re: KK on A flop 3 way

Based on a non-descriptive read I raise this flop. Then.....

1) If 3-bet, I fold.
2) If coldcalled, I put in zero more bets.
3) If called by the flop bettor, I check the turn and call the river.
