\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/13)

Tonight's show is their usual limit game, scheduled to be 30/60. Tomorrow they're planning on doing either the $40 min/max NL or the 300min/500max NL. Who would people really want to see (like I really know). By the way, if Denny or any of the regulars (welcome back if you're there) are around. There's a player currently in the ME who has been really taking her time making decisions on quite a few hands. For Denny, would you really clamp down on her by having her on the clock all the time, and to the other commentators, would you be more willing to call the clock on that person? Also, a note of congrats to L@TB favorite Kenna James, who finished 44th for 235K.

Welcome back Bart and Shirley

Good to see George is still not winning with big hands against a bunch of players all holding the same cards.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/13)

Juanda is currently 4th to the bottom with $550k according to Cardplayer. 37 players left. 28th-36th get $274,090.

The more things change, the more they stay the same Russ.

Bart/Shirley, how do you feel about the job Harrah's has done with the WSOP this year?

On another note, I saw your performance on the Players Network on Wednesday pimping Live at the Bike, and thought you did a great job promoting the show.

How could Grace continue to call against Z when the jack and ace hit?

With only 99... Z Rocks!

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread (7/13)

You must be new to the show. PT would define Grace as a LA-A.

What players style (if any) would you recommend a low limit internet player emulating? I play omaha hi low pot limit and have just started limit holdem. Tight like Yulette, or an aggressive person like Grace?

Mouth Mini-plosin

"The Mouth" Mike semi bluffed a flush draw and got whacked. Down under 3M....Will there be aftershocks?

Now down to 36 at the WSOP so Shirley makes another $3900.

Z Moronic Blind bets

Do you think he lost a big bet or two by his "arrogant" blind bet? If he stalls and thinks about it then bets, could the loose player in seat 8 possibly raise? His anger/pleasure that his "superior" hand held up and his inability to control his emotions cost him

Lord Raymer doubles up thru final female player

Tiffany calls Raymers all in preflop of KK with AJ and Raymers hand holds up. He is in much better shape now.

Juanda now at 200k

Doubling up the shortest stack still left, actually you're up to 2700, poor math on my end.

Bart, plz stfu about tracker/edge/random software for poker. It is -EV for us to hunt down the fish.

Please just talk about the game at hand.

Shirley, What omaha hi lo games do you play at the bike?

What levels do they have in omaha hi lo at the bike? If you had a choice which would you play more, omaha hi lo or holdem?

dabigbadrook 07-13-2005 10:29 PM

32 players left, John at 300k

He's still hanging on. Go John Go.

Scott filled in admirably. Some others, not so much.

Kevmath 07-13-2005 10:30 PM

Re: Shirley, What omaha hi lo games do you play at the bike?

It may be because several people are following the WSOP and aren't paying as close attention to the show. Another thing, it was suggested last week that all the commentators (Bart, Jennifer, Jana, Shirley, Tuch, Scott, Terry, Nicole, Denny) do some sort of 1 table shootout, and doing table talk for the commentary. Any thoughts on the chance that may happen?

Poker babe please stop saying "I know". Say "your right", or something like that, you are constantly saying "I know" when your partner is trying to lay stuff out for the viewers. BTW you are cute so dont take it personal.

Lisette must be drunk. This is the worst I've ever seen her play.

Ving Rhames makes an appearance.

Late to the show. So did Bart have any news on when we get Elmo Head Guy at the table? How did Shirley do and can Dave make next months rent?

Re:

Shirley out first day, Tuch did cash in two events, won a super to get into the ME (out first day), so I think he made out alright.

Just in case there was any doubt that Grace is a mega-calling station when she gets raised, she just called down with A2 on a board of 8-2-5-7-5 board when she got raised on the turn.

40 max buy in. Get ready for SoCals Cream of the Crop. It's just an all in fest. They spread that crap at the Plaza in Vegas. It ain't pretty.

She won a 10 pound satellite at the Gutshot cardroom to a further satellite at Gutshot, she finished 3rd in that satellite to win a 1k supersatellite in Vegas, she won a seat at the super to the main event. She's a small stakes tourney player, and maybe the most rank amateur to get this far in the tournament in quite some time.

Tiffany's an African-American who works in London as an attorney for a law firm. She's been catching mega-heat for her taking a very long time in making decisions on hands, getting all the money in with the worst hand and sucking out. Raymer's big comeback was when she called (after thinking about it for several minutes) Raymer's allin with AJ against his KK.
