What did you guys get on your ACT scores?

I got a 26 overall - 31 in english, and 22 in math, don't remember the others.

I had to take that test too!! I just remember passing it and being glad I did not have to take it again!

I actually think it's interesting. I've always had the feeling that I was most likely in the bottom half of smarts in this forum. I'm just curious to see if there are as many smartasses here as I think there are.

i think having a higher score makes you more likely to want to share it, hence the poll will be biased.

As people have mentioned before in other SAT type posts, yes there are a good amount of smart people here, and most of the dumb ones won't brag about it, so the results are skewed.

I don't mind the question; I just felt like getting to an area where I'm a bigger favorite. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

i got a 33, but i think people put way too much weight on standardized test scores. you can be a dope and get 99th percentile or higher if you read books, have taken enough math, and take a few practice exams/study for it.

wtf is the act? i never took it. i took erbs in middle school, isees for high school entrance, and than sats.

The ACT is comparable to the SAT. Here in Louisiana, most people who aren't planning on going to college out of state don't even take the SAT. I never did. I'm not sure how many other states are this way, but I don't think it's many.

27 overall- 28 math, 26 english, 27 reading, 27 science.

I beat my three older brothers, the closest one got a 22. So this makes for some good ammunition when we're busting eachothers balls. Of course one of them will usualy come back with "Didn't you flunk out of college after 1 year, yeah you did didn't you" [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]

ACT: 24 composite, 31 in math, the rest must've sucked.

Must be why I don't have a job and live with my parents at 31. lol

My highest score was a 27 composite with my high in English being like a 29, Math was like a 22 or 23 (I am terrible with math - go figure poker striking my fancy), Science was around 25, and Reading I scored a 32 once by some stroke of luck.

Haw. This was the case in Arkansas many years ago when I took the ACT.

25- 31 in English, 31 Science, made pretty patterns on the ScanTron in Math.

I took it four times and made 26,27,26,&amp; 28. They say to keep taking it until you make the same or less, but I shot that theory down trying to get a bigger scholarship. 28 paid twice as much as 26.

We actually have the same scores! It pissed off the Valedictorian who made a 28, and all my teachers. I was the only C&amp;D student on the school's scholar's bowl team my senior year. I was lazy as all hell. Lazy and smart can go hand in hand. I made 35 on my ACT and graduated high school 112th out of 117 students, I didn't give a [censored] I passed that was all that mattered. I did as little work/much weed as possible those years.
