Empire f'd up the "JUNEFEVER" for me. Despite promises, it still shows as "Elapsed" so I don't know if this is specific or not. Here ya go:

2.You must use the Deposit Bonus Code 50JULY on the Deposit Screen when you enter the amount of the deposit.
3.Minimum deposit is $50. You can deposit using any of the deposit options available at the cashier.
4.Bonus Amount will automatically be added to your Bonus Account where it will be held until you play raked hands equal to ten (10) times the amount of the bonus within ten (10) days of making your deposit.
5.In case of a deposit by any method where funds are not credited to your account instantaneously, the deposit must be initiated during the valid period of the bonus offer (July 10 – July 13). The bonus will be added to your bonus account when the funds are credited to your account.

Why would you be screwed? The 15-day thing was a rumor that was never confirmed by anybody. Many people who withdrew within 15 days of the last bonus were able to collect the bonus (myself included).

p.s. Yes, I know it was actually stated as a reason for some people not getting a PokerNow bonus.

Thanks for the clarification. The threads were so confusing, I didn't know what to believe and was very uncertain about the policy.

So Party doesn't allow you to withdraw during bonus period before you deposit, what new rules does Empire have, if any?

The stated rule is the same as Party. Cannot withdraw during the bonus period. Of course, if they enforced some totally different rule, it wouldn't be that big of a suprise.

This was the reason quoted by Empire for receiving an Elapsed Status. So yes it is confirmed...by empire themselves, if thats good enough for you.

Initially support was claiming this error was due to this new 15 day rule.

Then, after much persistence, they credited the bonus to my account with the following explanation/excuse:

I'm sure you are aware we have experienced a number of technical difficulties during the JuneFever promotion and we thank you for your patience and co-operation in this matter.

We have now manually released the bonus into your account.


Translation:

We are trying to weed out bonus whores however the whole process turned into one giant clusterfcuk. Here's your goddamn money now piss off and leave us alone.

No sense in arguing with each other about how Empire attempted to justify not providing some with the bonus when Empire themselves can't even figure out how they dropped the ball on the promotion.

How many emails did it take you? Took me 5, two of which includes threats to go to Absolute and never play Empire again.

Probably about 5 0r 6. For the last two I also forwarded my concerns to their marketing department.

When I received the email stating the bonus had been released to my account, the message was sent from affilitates@empirepoker.com as opposed to info@empirepoker.com.

I did the same as you, threatening to take by business to Stars.

I think it is maybe account specific because my wife got the email and I didn't. I play at empire and she likes to play at absolute LOL.

anyone know if it is live yet? I cant do that deposit and then quickwithdrawl anymore if it doesnt work because of the stupid cashout 15 day garbage and I want to clear it tonight.

I cashed out 6/28, and deposited tonight (7/10) for the bonus and it worked. My bonus hands are accumulating.

Well I would think not.

I signed up at Empire 3 days ago and deposited for the initial bonus 20% and 5x. I just cleared it Saturday afternoon 4:30 PM ET. I withdrew ~ $450 back to Neteller 10:00PM ET Saturday night. I just deposited (2:15AM ET) $500 using 50JULY code and received my bonus. So basically I deposited for a bonus roughly 4 hours after withdrawing and it was credited and Bonus is Pending...

Just withdrew about 6 hours ago because I'm no longer playing on Empire sans bonus and I got it. 15 days thing is obviously bullshit.
