Re: bodog poker?

WTF does bread and butter have to do with football season and poker. Bodog is a fine place to play.

Everybody please, please, go to bodogs. The tables are too loose, we could really use some good players in there to tighten things up. Again, PLAY BODOGS!!! Please, lets see how many 2+2'ers we can get in there.

Dont worry, most here will mostly always play Party, regardless.

Meaning i like to wager on football. it might be too much trouble transfering the money back and forth from my pokerstars account to my other accounts.

Most here play limit. Bodog simply doesn't havnt enough players and therefore tables to make it worthwhile yet.

For SNG's though, it looks like a really sweet deal.

I have played poker there and used the sports book both are excellent. Check out the multitable tournaments, they are excellent and of course give you nice bodog points.

If you enter say a 10+1 SNG or MTT you will clear $2 of your pending bonus. Bonuses are bottomless there. You get 6 bodog points for every dollar of tourney fee. Takes 3 bodog points to clear a buck of bonus.

Let me get this straight. IF I play 1,000 $30+3 SNGs at BODOG, they will give me $6,000 in return?

Yes, exactly 6 grand is correct.

Re: bodog poker?

maybe I shouldn't say this (don't want to ruin it), but does bodog credit immediately credit the bonus for everyone? I haven't tried to cash it out, but they put it in with my total that I can sit with at a table? and I can't find any place giving my any conditions like points or hands to play. it's just in my bankroll. I assume I can't cash it, but it sure looks like I can lose it at a table!

Well that would require a $30k deposit. Any rules on withdrawals and redeposits? I appreciate if anyone would send me a link. And thanks for providing me the info in the meantime.

Scuba

Just noticed this. The overlap on Bodog is a real pain.
Edit: Nevermind.

ANOTHER QUESTION; Are you limited to only playing 3 tables at a time?

Edit: Bodog FAQ. But I still haven't found anything about deposits and withdrawals.

naschburger2 06-26-2005 05:25 PM

Re: bodog poker?

absolutely, the money is credited immediately with withdrawal restrictions. I even made a few sportsbook bets the other day and got some credit toward earning the bonus.

Re: bodog poker?

I like the software, bonuses are great. Horrible players (YES!). Do the blinds escalate way to fast in sit n gos (all in fests) or am I just use to UB's super slow blinds? I played 8 today and seemed like coin flips had to decide each cash. (6 max, 1st and 2nd pay) non turbo.

Agree or disagree?

Nice overlays on the 3 tourneys I entered.

The 35.+3 Sits felt like similar players @ UB $5+.50.

Bodog doesn't have a bonus progression counter (yet). you either have to keep track yourself (just add to whatever your poker points count was at the time of your last deposit), or contact support for an update.

If you deposit, can you withdraw any $ before clearing your bonus? Also, when signing up they ask me for a referral #, is there any way for me to make some $ via this?

Re: bodog poker?

I checked out Bodog today while hanging out at work.

There was only one $10+1 going for about 45 minutes, and I think only one $20+2 for awhile also.

This is good news, as it is not overrun by multi-tabling bonus whores during the day.

Plus, I watched the $10+1, and witnessed some horrible play.

Also, I noticed the game moves really, really slowly. Basically, if I plan on playing at Bodog, I will play some heads up SNGs or 3 10+1s at a time.

I will give a better review if I ever play there.
