Biggest losing hands of yours
My top 5 losing hand (BB/Hand) are KJs, AJs, 98s, TT and KJo in last 10K hands. How should I deal with those hands in the future? Try to avoid them unless I am at good positions? Be less agressive with them?

Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
KQs.....ugh, I hate that hand.
KJs and KJo are trouble hands. Hard to get away from, and play best SH or HU. Open raise from MP or later. Don't CC KJo. AJs and TT shouldn't be a problem playing PF. Learn to let them go when it's obvious you are beaten. 98s, I will limp from MP or later at a nice passive table. Your Milage May Vary (YMMV) |
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
QTs, K9s, 87s, 77, 22
i only have 40k hands in my database though.... top 5 winners: AA, KK, QQ, AKs, JJ (which is interesting being Sklansky's Group 1 hands in a row) edit: maybe aks is after jj? |
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
My top 5 winners are AA KK QQ JJ 66. AKs and AKo are out of top 20. Guess I am having trouble with them as well.

Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
Biggest losers for me are AJo, KJo, J8s?, 88, 84o (0-93 w/ it, never limped or tried to steal) KQs is not to great either. And the hand that really bugs me AKs is a slight loser. This is just over 10k hands at 1/2.

Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
Over my last 90k hands, my biggest losing hands are:
75s 86s K2s A4o 96s |
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
Just for amusement:
KJs (I'm probably overplaying this trash) 22 (I'm on a 6-hand streak of set-over-set losses, it's nuts) J9s (couple instances of straights getting pwned up, plus a lot of bricks) A9s (this is the reason I tend to stay away from weaker aces; I tend to overplay them. Oops.) KQs (but not KQo -- probably due to too many missed flushes) AKs (I think I ram-jam this hand UI too much, but AKo is a big winner for me. WTF.) -K |
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
AJs
AJo ATo KJo ATs is a winner KTs and KTo are winners |

Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
ATs and 77 are the only ones that surprised me.
Both due to terrible luck. Like wicked bad stuff. Like nut flush beaten by straight flush and set over set. I've only gotten them like 40 times, too. So that makes a big difference. |
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
By far my worst hand over the last 4k-5k hands has been KQo. Almost every time i get this hand, I misplay it...
|
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
Mine are weird, over 41K hands: A7s, J2s, K3s, 43s, 98o. Go figure.

don't analyze specific hands with such a small sample. [/ QUOTE ] Indeed. Hands like AKo, AJo, KJs are going to have significant variance but it is going to be hard to play them bad enough that they are long term losers (probably impossible for AKo). You would need many hundreds of thousands of hands for these winrates to start becoming statisically significant, maybe millions. |

My top 5 losing hand (BB/Hand) are KJs, AJs, 98s, TT and KJo in last 10K hands. [/ QUOTE ] 19k hands 75% .5/1, 25% 1/2 KJs 55x(times) -.37BB 89vpip 44pfr 20rfi. Mine is a big loser also. Perhaps I should limp more after a limper? Funny, even my KTs that I've had 67 times is +.36BB with a 82vpip, 37pfr and 22rfi. Even my K9s is a winner. AJs is a breakeven for me. It seems like this should be a winner. I'm 97vpip with this hand and raise it 76% of the time preflop including 42% first in. Even my AJo is a .4BB winner with similar preflop stats though. Just varience? 98s .11BB 65vpip 4pfr 2rfi TT 86x 1BB 96vpip 88pfr I don't think you should be losing with TT. Maybe your not folding to overcards enough? KJo 187x .08BB 80vpip 13pfr [ QUOTE ] How should I deal with those hands in the future? Try to avoid them unless I am at good positions? Be less agressive with them? [/ QUOTE ] Can't say since you didn't tell us how you deal with them, and how aggressive you are with them now. |

Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
Interesting. I have +0.46 with AJo and -0.31 with AJs. Never noticed that before. And my biggest loser is 97s. What does this mean? Nothing at all.

Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
In nearly 30k hands KQo is more profitable for me than AKo and KK is slightly better on a total net winning basis than AA. Apparently I'm so good at this game I don't even need to use aces to win.
Just shows that these individual hand totals don't mean much for a very long time. One or two particularly great hands or bad beats can completely skew the figures for a long time. |
Re: Biggest losing hands of yours
TT
JJ T9s It appears to be the result of a small sample size though, hell 44 is in my top three winners. TT would be a winner had I played one hand slightly differently. I folded for one BB on the river n a 30+BB pot, letting a guy with a pair of sevens win It's also appears that I often overplay them when there's overcards. |
