HU 7-card stud is like watching paint dry. I would put my money on Barry G.

That last post from full contact was somebody playing a joke, so the match isn't over. The latest update has DN down 215K though...

Re: Barry and Daniel match #1

That was fake.

But Barry G's a pretty large favorite (pokerwise) here. I expect him to take it down.

Re: Barry and Daniel match #1

What I meant to ask is that I understood they would be playing a number of matches - if that is so, are they going to try to get them all in over the next month.

Re: Barry and Daniel match #1

What's the game they're playing tonight? IIRC, they're playing a series of several different poker variants.

That is the plan. If they both bust reasonably early at the Rio, then they'll head over to the Wynn for the matches.

From Daniel's message board:

"Daniel only down 38K and believes that he is about to punish Barry with superior play"

LOL...are you suggesting Daniel--or Danile as you call him--is playing against a fruit?

By the way, I think the fact that "Berry" is reading while playing, is an indicator of how serious of an opponent he thinks DN is.

[ QUOTE ]
This will be the start of his comeuppance

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe I'm stupid, but I don't even know what that means.

Barry's totally gotten away from what made him a great poker player.

Really? When did he start losing.

You are a perfect example of why this forum could use tighter moderation. All of your posts are just negative, insulting drivel that add no insight whatsoever.

Daniel now down 115K. Daniel keeps getting trips outdrawn on the river. Cards even, Daniel feels like he's a big favorite.

That's the problem with these low-limit games where nobody folds. Daniel needs to move up in limits so the fish will stop drawing out on him.

thats popostious. mr. negrenu is the best poker player in the world, he wins by outplaying his opponets, not outdrawing them.

Oh, and I'm rooting for Danny 'cause i think barryg1 is the most egotistical, compensating, backhanded-commenting prick I ever saw on TV and read in a message board. (Yes, even more than Danny and Phil H.)
