In a nanosecond. You're getting like half the pot odds you need to call.

Well you have less than 2 outs. Fold.

Less? You're holding the 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], so I'd say both the 5s are clean. It's still only 2 outs, and you can't call, but it is 2 outs.

In a heartbeat. You need double the pot size to call.

BTW, you are asking a question about a specific action on the flop. Do not include any additional streets in your post, particularly if they may support an incorrect action. You do not want results oriented responses, you want responses that lead to the correct results.

Agh!

Don't let the turn 5 question your judgement. It could have been any card.

This is such an easy fold on the flop, it's not even funny.

but personally i would fold this preflop.

Don't let the results cloud your judgement. 95% of the time you are NOT spiking that 5, and chasing it would be massive chip spewing.

Underpair with some very weak backdoor draws? Hell yes I fold this with the quickness. You tried for a set and bricked; now it is time to move on to the next hand.

Re: Do you fold this flop?

I discounted the two outs because a flush may come in or someone may get already have or end up with a higher set. I Don't think the 5s are full outs.

This is what the Check/Fold button was made for.
You're going to see this kind of thing happen, from time to time your miracle card will appear after you fold, don't let it change your play.

This is an easy fold. Don't let the one time you hit it on the turn make you think that you'll always hit it.
