$500 live sng heads up hand

so I got back to miami today, and decided to hit up the casino with my friend at midnight to see how the new sngs are there...

$500 buyin, 10 players.
1st-$2375
2nd-$1395
3rd-$930
Start with 2500 chips except everyone decides to start with less chips like the cheaper buyins for some reason, so we really started with 1500 chips, blinds start at 50/100, and go up every 15 min (you actually get in a lot of hands, with there 2 deck automatic shuffler system) and go up to 100/200, 200/400, 300/600, 400/800, and so on....

So after working the bubble and pushing a ton (sucking out with 36s vs AK on a blind steal, and everyone thinking im a moron, lol) this hand comes up heads up.

Me-11200
Him-3800

Im in the SB with K9s (blinds 400/800), I complete (ive been stealing like crazy up to this point, and the hand before was the first hand heads up and I reraised him when he limped with JJ). He makes it 2400, and has 3800 total. Whats my move. (Ive seen him reraise like this before with k10o before, but check with most other hands like T8s).

Your move is to go allin preflop. I hate calling.

Yeah I just see no realistic reason for calling when your opponent has less than 5x the BB, and your hand is hugely +EV if you moved allin and turned the hand faceup.

there'a 1600 in the pot, so as long as you're not dominated a push is ok I guess (I suppose you could call as well, I just don't see a fold). Like curtains, I don't like the call. If you want to call his bb, do it with a monster or a hand like 26o that you feel you can fold to a raise.

Calling doesn't seem TOO bad.

Note this should be instead of completing.

K9s is one of those hands that has to be open pushed here regardless of what your image is. If his calling range is narrow you should be pushing any two cards. If his calling range is wide K9s is likely favored against his calling range anyway.

You want to be the one forcing him to call your bets, I would either fold or push from the SB there. But given your situation if you think he's only raising with very good hands then lay it down.

I obviously know the move is to push preflop. But since I limped preflop, whats my move now?

My line of calling, is I said the hand before I call in the dark the next hand preflop (to calm him down ) btw...

Do you get rakeback? I know the vig is only 6%, but there's gotta be some deal right? (unless eye candy and free drinks are abound).

Your move is to wish you moved allin preflop. I think this feeling is an awful lot like buyers remorse. The now 1.53:1 pot odds, however, do justify a call if you'd like to. I think this decision could go either way. I muck it while bitching at the guy for being a crazy.

i think the raise he makes indicates strength. i take it as hes trying to get you to call a normal 3bb raise in hopes you don't realize that he basically just pushed.

yeah I just dont understand why you'd do that while playing for real money.

Anyway It's hard to answer what to do after calling unless I was actually there. Since he knows you called in the dark, I don't think I'd fold, but it's a pretty absurd scenario. Also how were we expected to give an answer without knowing that you called in the dark? Obviously he should raise with more hands in this case.
