Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
After long consideration and the temptation of Ten's Paulson group buy, I have decided to go with pokerchips.com customs.
I have narrowed my color choices down to two different sets. Any opinions welcome. http://img167.exs.cx/img167/7448/mockups22hj.jpg http://img167.exs.cx/img167/3186/mockups3ab.jpg Thanks, Ozazl |
Re: Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
If set 2 is on the right I like that one best. If not you need to say what is in each set.

Re: Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
pretty sure set 1 is the top 4 and set 2 is the bottom 4... those are two seperate pics...
that being said, I like the top set much better... not a fan of the orange spots on black though... (take my opinion with a grain of salt... most don't like my choice of having lavender spots on all the the chips in my order except for the lavender chip that has DGpink spots) I'm assuming you'll have these chips for a long time. Go with what you think looks best and you'll be more happy with them in the longrun. "longrun" All the pokerbooks seem to imply that we all win in the "longrun"... Still can't find it on any calander- so if anyone can tell me exactly when it is, I'd really appreciate it. Sorry, it's a little past my bedtime. -faith |

I like the top 4 chips best if that is a set.

Re: Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
I like set two better with the exception of that hideous mint-green/brown chip. I like the green chip in the top set much better.

Re: Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
i like the green chip in set 1 and the graphite/orange chip in set 1 and 2

Re: Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
Hey man! Dont dis on the brown, it looks very unique. I actually have both the 2 right side chips from set 2 (light grn/brown, black dg peach). I can take some more pics of them stacked up if you want but here are the ones I have. They look a little different now after some use. Obviously I like that best, I dont like that the lavender and the black both have orange spots tho. Consider yellow for the lavender one.

I like set 1. That green and brown one in the second set -- I wouldn't know whether to bet it or eat it.

Thanks for all the opinions.
The first set is: Red/Arc Yellow Green/DG Pink Black/ DG Peach Purple/ DG Green The second is: Mandarin Red/ Imperial Blue Light Green/ Chocolate Black/ DG Peach Lavender/ Arc Yellow Set 2 is an attempt to duplicate the Palmas Club chips. My wife and one of my poker buddies are both red/green colorblind, so I have had to make sure there is enough of a difference in the red and green so that they (and any male children or grand children that I might have in the future) can tell them apart at a glance. That ruled out a lot of possible color combos. Ozazl |

[ QUOTE ] First set and it's not even close [/ QUOTE ] Do you see why? [/ QUOTE ] Now I feel like a jerk. Your wife and one of your poker buddies literally cannot see why. Hope the set works out given this unusual constraint. |
Re: Feedback on Pokerchips.com Colors
well, most have the amount of the chip printed on the label. not talking about tournaments of course. but you dont often see a red in play at a tournament.
