Which size cards do you prefer.
I know there is another thread running on this subject, but I am interested in actual numbers for a market survey.

Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I have large hands and could easily be comfortable with poker size cards, but with so many people likely to be handling them I opt for the bridge size.
Not to mention that this is what you will usually find being used in casino's and I try to emulate that environment as much as possible. |
Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I use bridge size just because they are about the size of a normal set of bicycles and thats what everyone is acustomed to. Poker size is just a little too thin and feels weird to hold, almost like when someone puts out the dead handed no grip hand shake

bridge is smaller than poker size, jason
as a hijack, how did your doctor/wrist thing go? |
Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I know most casinos use bridge size. Don't care. They feel like "toy" cards...but then again I'm 6'4" and 255 lbs.

So the next set I bought, Kopag Bridge size, was thicker and more the sizs of a normal card. As far as the surgery goes they postponed it so they could do it at Brigham and Womens in Boston becasue they have better assistants and Patholigists there in the off chance that the tumor in my scapula (shoulder blade) is malignant. |
Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
Yuck dude, good luck.
Yeah, Bridge is 2in wide and Poker is 2.5in wide. Pinochle cards are bridge size. |
Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I think it'd be fun to play with those jumbo oversized card decks and big chips that are the size of dinner-plates. Pushing all-in would be rad.

Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I have an old set of bridge KEMs with the magnum print. It looks pretty cool. Most of the players really like them.

Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I use the magnum index myself. It helps out a lot when the flop is at one end of the table and you're sitting at the other. However, the true beauty of the magnum index is that the corners still have the regular index fonts on them for when you're peeking at your hold cards.

Re: Which size cards do you prefer.
I agree. I don't think many people realized that the smaller indexes are still in the corners. I think they were too busy looking at the way the paints are laid out sidways.
I wish they would have made the magnum index in poker size. I would have bought them all! sv |
