True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

I'm curious to know what people are actually earning this year, per hour, from poker. This includes rakeback and bonuses, and making necessary deductions (travel expenses and tips if you play live, CPU hardware/software bought specifically for poker).

My info:
~$20.46 hourly
~167 hours
57% of my income comes from rakeback/bonuses

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

i've only been keeping track for the last 50 hours, a small sample, but i'm at $36-$38/hr (don't remember the exact amount) at $5/$10 hold 'em and $4/$8 omaha 8/b. this includes a $320 tournament loss, and $40 for gas/food at the tournament.

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

Around $70/hr since I started playing 3/6 (and a little higher since moved up to 5/10 SH). That's over like 40k hands.

Overall for the year my average is probably around $40/hr (I started at .5/1 in Late December/January).

I don't know how much of my income comes from rakeback and bonuses, my hourly figures are from pokertracker so they don't include those.

How about the cost of my house and my cars? Want my schooling and rate of intercourse? How about my family background? Anything else?

I just wanna hear about the intercourse.

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

for the last 12 months

1469 hours
$48.40 an hour gross

maybe $5000 in deductions if I wanna be creative.

This year so far,

533 hours
$58 per hour gross

basically, take how much you think you can make when your running good and excited about the possibilities, then devide by 2. That gets you pretty close to reality.

Oh, just won a big pot. $7/hr over 210 hours at 100/200 on Prima.

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

$24.21/hr going from my PT database, with an MT ratio of 1.4 on mostly 2/4 & 3/6 full. That's over ~ 318 true hours. (But note that it includes numbers for everything from .50/1 to 15/30)

Including everything else, I'd guesstimate somewhere in the $27/hr range. I need to open a new account so I can get rakeback, but I'm also swayed by the monthly deposit bonuses Empire'll give me once I make their royal flush club.

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

I didn't realize this thread is still going. Poker tracker tells me $63/hr, plust about $15 in rakeback and the odd bonus, so $80 usually. This is over 92 hours (since my last database crash)-around 20 hours or so I guess of 8 tabling previous to this.

Anyone who thinks this is unsustainable hasn't played much 2/4 .

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

I make around $80/hr i would estimate playing mostly 1/26max at Party with a multitable ratio of 1.0. and even more at the .50/1 full tables if i two table. On good days over 100 /hr playing 3 tables of .50/1 but thats usually pretty rough to play because the games are so tough.

Re: True hourly earnings: too lazy to make a poll.

Party opening those NL tables up is the best thing to my win rate since... well... ever Now all I need to do is find many more hourse to play - damn real world

$172 / hour, 67 hours, MT 1.4
