stonkillr and BKLaw are both sharks, stone has won a foxwoods event and BKLaw is on the Puerto Rico World Cup team.

Luckily, BKLaw doesn't have much of a stack, and you have stone covered, so you should be able to ride them out.

If you're lucky enough to get heads up with the chip leader, you're basically gonna have to take everyone else out on your own to overcome the chip disadvantage.

BTW, nice K4 hand.

Yeah that was an interesting hand. I had K4xx in the SB with BKLaw in the BB. I've bullied him before on blind confrontations, and he openly said the next time I'd raise his blind he'd reraise. This wasn't a good hand, so I heeded his advice earlier and just completed. Thankfully he didn't pray on that and just checked.

Flop came KQx, gave me top pair. He checks, but I check behind. Don't want to get checkraised.

Turn gives me two pair, and I like my hand now. He checks, I bet nearly half the pot and he calls.

River gives me the almighty 4 for the boat, and he checks again. I decided that if I put him all in he'll only call with better hands, so I bet half his stack, and he calls it off. Hooray.

I had him, and then he sucked out on me.

Then the next hand he pulls two pair versus my one pair.

I'll admit I misplayed the 2nd hand. Oh well, such is poker.

I'm really, REALLY psyched, though. My bankroll was around $500, and now it's $1000.

Needless to say, I am PUMPED!! WOOHOO!

1st would have been a helluva lot nicer, but I'll look at the glass as half full for the moment.

I vastly misplayed my top pair hand, there. I think I was steaming.

The hand in question, I had an OESD plus a nut flush draw, he had two pair plus a worse flush draw. I hit my straight on the turn, but he hit his boat on the river
