The best of Ed Miller

How about gathering all of Ed Miller's finest threads and putting them together in one place? It would sure make things more easy to find. Here are my favorite Ed Miller posts: 1) Take off the preflop training wheels. 2) HEPFAP loose games vs. SSHE. 3) Charging flush draws 4) Preflop by Ed Miller 5) Two fundamental principles. 6) Why are you not crushing small stakes games? Are there any you guys would add to this list? What are your favorite "Miller posts?"

This is a pretty good idea. Two other Miller posts I can think of that are pretty important:

1) "I three-bet to find out where I stood ..."
2) "Common Party 3-6 situation"

and although this next thread wasn't started by Ed, he goes OFF on a few posters and gives a great, no-holds barred explanation why the action is correct:

3) "2/4 Hand" - by Clarkmeister (posted June 2004 or therebouts). Subject matter = playing overcards out of position. A must read.

Try this guys. I don't know if it has every Miller thread mentioned by Spurgeon, but it is damn good:

Favorite 2+2 threads

Enjoy. Spurgeon, please post any that are not included here, if you would.

Are there any other posters who stand out from the crowd for making exceptionally informative posts? For any type of game. It would be tremendously helpful to see a list of great posters for:
1. Limit
2. No Limit
3. Short Hand
4. Pot Limit Omaha
5. Stud
6. High Stakes Poker
7. Tournaments

Form Micro I like to read ShillX and EliteNinja's posts esepcially as they move/moved up (or down as the case may be). Interesting to see how they handle the same things I am dealing with.

Someone else mentioned Andy B and he has some really informative stud posts, well worth the time to dig up.

Al Schoonmaker has some awesome posts too in the Psych forum.

Try searching this

IMO, that's where most of the good stuff is.

Ed Miller Post Links and Thanks

for those too lazy here are
All of Ed's Posts @ 200/page

also, thanks for the recognition, those other NL guys are much better players/posters and it's flattering to be put up there with them.

It might be interesting to say that when i came to the forum i was barely a breakeven player, so reading older posts may be bad unless taken within the context of "watch me progress as a player"

I have a "Search for Posts by Dynasty" page bookmarked in my IE. But he just doesn't post in any of the hand forums anymore, which is why no one has listed him.

I think I'll be back in the mid-limit forums more regularly soon. My poker posting vacation is just about over.
