\"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

I declare this the official thread, since it's got official in the title of the post.

My guess is tonight's show will be the $500 NL game. Hopefully tonight's lineup will be the duo of Rosario/Hanson.
The less Denny Williams, the better.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

the 500 no limit is only featured on fridays.

Kevmath 02-23-2005 08:44 PM

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

I was thinking they may throw in the $500 today since they were mentioning Saturday there would be no "high roller" game tomorrow.

Shows you what I don't know.

My thread got eaten up by yours!

I liked Bart / Denny, but I haven't heard the other two. I'm hoping for more "2 by 2" announcements : )

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

Hanson is Bart Hanson, Shirley Rosario is a prop there and host of this site.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

So far Denny's really zipping thru all the info. The way play's gone the first couple of minutes, he may be doing that a few dozen more times.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

Shirley Rosario just gave a shout out to all us two plus twoers. Holla.

I'm a little surprised at the play. It seems loose-passive pre-flop, except when KK or AA is out there.

Kevmath 02-23-2005 10:23 PM

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

It seems like everyone there is falling asleep, the pace of play so far.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

I'm surprised there wasn't more action on the set over set over straight hand.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

That hand that had a board of 456 rainbow, and one guy semi-bluffing with Q7o, one guy with 23o for the flopped straight, and one guy with the set of 4's. I was kind of surprised the 4's folded, he was getting 2-1 on his money not including whatever was in the pot. I guess he feared an overset?

Live at the Bike

As for the 456 board hand, I'm pretty sure it was 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], so there was a flush draw out there as well.

It's the tightest $200 NL game anyone's probably seen.

the male announcer is terrible.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

The 5 minute delay isn't for profanity, it's basically a precaution to prevent people from getting immediation information on hands.

ya i figured this. but if they are worried about profanity then dont you think they should use the 5 minute delay to their advantage?

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

Is this what all #200 buy-in NL games at the bike are like?

Kevmath 02-23-2005 11:06 PM

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

I don't know why he keeps mentioning RGP, because when I wade thru it, there's hardly any mention of what's going on there. It's us 2+2'ers who're commenting.

Someone at the table has over a grand. Also, I didn't know a table could be labelled as loose-tight-awful.

I would be really excited if I heard one of the announcers said "Purple monkey dishwasher." If one of you read this, say it. I would be so excited.

Wish they would stop just saying “its tight”, instead explain what’s wrong with their tight passive actions. Maybe if they make it look bad enough they will get embarrassed into loosening up.

Re: \"Official\" Live at the Bike thread

At least the commentators are no Van Patten or Sexton, "he has AT a MONSTER hand, he'll definitely be playing this one".
