Re: Pics of table that work this time!
nice legs, where'd ya get em?
sharp felt, I have the green and am fixing to order the blue BEAUTIFUL rail, no seams is a must, nice job doc |
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
Looks great!
Same question about where you got the legs. Also, how much did they cost? I've had a hard time finding a more solid solution than the folding ones that don't cost an arm and an leg. |
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
I bought the legs from Atlanta fixtures for $30 each. These are commercial legs that are 28" in height which made the table too high for my taste. I cut the legs and rethreaded the bolt so the top of the rail now sits 29" high. I did encounter a lateral stability issue with these legs so I fabricated a larger footprint on the base, pic included.

Thanks Doc for the feedback on the rail, I definitely like them w/o seams. It also helps to have those canvas pliers as well!!!

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
Great table! I really love the felt, hoterdoc introduced me to the green version a few months back. I like to red!

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
Slick table, is it bad if i'm even more jealous of the massive amount of bass sitting in the corner?... I can imagine two SVS cylinders in my living room - wicked.

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
Is that Whisper vinyl?? You get it from yourautotrim or joanns? Table looks great btw..

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
Can one ever have too much bass? good pick up on manufacturer!
|
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
You are correct, I used whisper in flat black this time. I purchase this material from Keyston.
|
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
What material did you use for the top? Plywood? MDF? Looks really good.
|
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
2 sheets of 3/4 plywood, mdf alone is heavy and flexes too much.

...I cut the legs and rethreaded the bolt ... [/ QUOTE ] Sweet table and I like the way you did the legs... looks sharp & out of the way Also the burg felt looks good with the black. What is the "bolt" you had to rethread? The vertical cylinder? Seems like a big die Nice job - Thanks for posting, Fins |
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
Sweet table! Seamless beauty... I wish mine was.

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
There is a long bolt running throught the tube of the leg connecting the base and the mount. To lower the table I had to cut the tube and rethread the bolt....not much fun!

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
That is a really sweet table. What was the total price of materials and how long did it take work time, ie: not time waiting for parts ect
|
Re: Pics of table that work this time!
This table came in around $275 and time to build was about 12 hrs due to the fact that I had to shorten the legs and drill the steel plate to increase footprint.

Re: Pics of table that work this time!
