Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

For those who took part in the 25% up to $50 holiday offer from ClassicPoker, have you rec'd your bonus yet? It was supposed to be credited on Jan 9th according to their email. I played the hands, but am still waiting on mine.......

Re: Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

I've also played over 250 raked hands and have not yet been credited the bonus.

I did not receive my bonus either so I called them. The person I talked to knew nothing about this bonus offer. She said she would investigate and get back to me tomorrow. I doubt I will here from her but I will call back again tomorrow. I'll post what happens.

Re: Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

We need to raise a major stink about this bonus. I also did not get paid have spent hours on the phone and have forwarded an email.
They start by sending us an email that offers up to $50 with no requirements mentioned. After assuming there were none but then checking they send us a new email with an extension and an explanation that we need 5 raked hands. If you call ecash direct it takes forever to get a raked hand count and sometimes they count only if you have money in the pot. I have had counts of 125 and 240 for the same time period from different customer service people. Does anyone know if there definition of a raked hand is different from intercasino or if it has changed. I believe they were either stupid or deceptive in their first email and now after promising to pay on the 10th are being downright dishonest. Lets all email and continue to email the poker room manager until paid. My customer service person could not find his email address so if anyone knows it please post it.

I spoke with them today and they stated I will definitely get it but it will take a couple more days. I'm not real confident on this and support the idea of flooding them with e-mails and phone calls.

Re: Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

I just got the email apologizing for the delay saying they had deposited $50 in my account. I still will never play on classic poker again but will stick to the other cryptologic sites. I shouldn't have had to email to get this bonus. It was supposed to be paid on the 10th and if there was a problem an email should have been sent to all players. First they sent an email invitation not stating any requirements to get the $50 christmas bonus and then they send another email that clarified it and extended it with a specific date mentioned when payment would be made. Also this is the worst site for getting raked hand information. Thanks for the bonus buts its too little too late.

Anytime I begin to suspect that I am too critical of Classic and I should try them out, they go ahead and convince me that they still suck. And I'll whore just about anywhere.

Re: Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

Could someone please repost the e-mails advertising the bonus or pm them to me? I'd like to have them handy if I have to call customer support and I can't seem to find my copies. Thanks!

Re: Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

here is the first one with no requirements:
Hi Victor

It has been great end to 2004 at Classic Poker, especially December with the completion of the Caribbean Poker Classic tournament held at the Maho Beach Casino Resort.

$50 Holiday Offer

We are going to round the year off with a 25% match deposit bonus up to $50. Simply make your deposit between Christmas Day and New Years Eve and the bonus will be credited by 6th January.

Here is the second one with the extension and the requirements now spelled out:

Hi Victor

Classic Poker Bonus Extension

$50 Holiday Offer

The $50 Holiday Bonus Offer has now been extended to the 9th January, so make your qualifying deposit now! Get a 25% Bonus on your first deposit between Christmas and the 9th of January, up to a maximum of $50!

If you have made your qualifying deposit between Christmas Day and the 9th of January, simply play 5 times the bonus amount in raked hands and the bonus will be credited to your account on Monday 10th January! For Example deposit $200 and play 250 raked hands to get at $50 Bonus

If they wouldn't have sent the first deceptive email and then gave a specific date for crediting accounts and not lived up to it I wouldn't have been so upset even though I finally got the bonus. good luck post if you have a problem.

According to ECash customer service it's 'manager @ classicpoker.com'. Haven't tried it myself.

Re: Rec\'d ClassicPoker Bonus?

Dear All,

The Classic Poker winter promotion bonus and its extension has caused a few players to be negative towards Classic Poker.

During this promotion we did experience some technical problems and this extended the final bonus crediting time, but the majority of qualifying players were credited the 25% bonus.

The only exceptions were players who completed the requirements last minute on the 9th, which affected the raked hand count requirements done for this promotion bonus.

Classic Poker are providing the communication to these players and is getting this resolved.

Classic Poker is now under new management and we are working to improve the services offered. Players should be seeing a significant improvements of support through email along with more and more promotional events.

Our website will have a total make over during February and all players will receive newsletters with events and bonus.

Classic Poker does take player feedback seriously and continues to seek improvements, we hope that you will continue to support Classic Poker and enjoy the games we offer.

To C P Man

Thank you for the post and the explanation, but I have a comment or two:

Currently Classic has an extremely bad reputation on 2+2.

I would suggest that you need to monitor this forum and respond to as many posts re difficulties at Classic Poker as you possibly can from this point forward, and FACILITATE getting difficulties and concerns resolved.

This is the approach that Gaming Club guy has used here and it has improved the perception of that poker site a great deal.

If you are truly committed to improving your site and generating more business, i.e. rake, you will make this kind of effort. One post saying "we are going to improve" ain't going to get it done.

Thank You

Re: To C P Man

Thank you Stir,

I intend to answer as many queries here at 2+2 and at Classic Poker support in our campaign to become a new improved poker room that cares about players and ensure that they are happy playing at Classic Poker.

I will be monitoring 2+2 and several other sites daily, so if there are any issues I will be able to address them quickly and get these resolved.

Dear xxxxxxx,
Following your email we have placed a request for your account to be credited with the 25% sign-up bonus, the Ecash team will attempt to credit this bonus, but as the system is setup to credit these with bonus codes there maybe some technical difficulties.

This should be completed during today.
