Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Argggghhhhh, just dropped about 1200 chips.
Q9o in the BB, after like 5 limpers. Flop J T 4, some min bets around. Turn K, I bet out 100, button raises to 300. I reraise, he pushes for a couple chips more. Had AQ for the real straight. |
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
that blows
welcome to my table you just took the seat of the only truly horrible player here GOOD LUCK |
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
That sucked...I had KQ and turned the nuts.
No draws out there but mine...I thought Bati99 had a hand...I don't know what he's raising the flop for.....but he just checked it through. Oh well. |
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
suspected you had a strong hand after you called a bet and a raise on the flop. Good one.
Laid down TT on the button when there was a raise and reraise (when both dudes had AK) |

Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Break at 5005. Sweet rush where I had QQ, AA, then a set of 9s in the last 3 hands.
|
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Looks like you caught a great run of cards. Figured you had KK with the big 400 chip reraise PF. You're doing what you need to do; I'd just like to get north of 3K here soon.
You're doing some awesome betting w/that Bati dude...you're probably in his head right about now. |
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Still at table #150, 4k, 2nd at the table. Had lead but I got snapped off a while ago then went card dead.
|
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Made it to first break with ~t5000.
Gave some money to someone with AA. Caught a set of tens and called down a river bluff on the 3rd flush card. Good to be lucky. |
First Break
T1225. Nothing too eventful so far... Guy on my immediate left is at 56% VP$IP, but I'm not positioned to take much advantage of it. Hopefully I can pick up some cards soon.

ty Shant.... T2075 .... lost A-K vs A-K when 4th diamond hit the river.
Still alive though. |
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
6000+, guy with KK paid off my set all the way, doubling me up.
|
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Speaking of KK, how about this hand? I decided to limp specifically because both the guy on my left and the BB are LAG (58/14 and 39/18). I couldn't decide whether or not to bet the turn. I didn't want to commit too much, and I sure didn't want to give up MY free card if he was check-raising a straight. With his actual holding I could have extracted some money on the turn... should I have contented myself with the 1K pot?

Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Just got moved off of Schaef's table, and had a limp w/AJo get pushed away by an all in. I did double up earlier when I open raised w/JJ, got one caller, and then a dude raised all in. Thought he was makin a move, called, he showed A8, and the jacks held up. After a steal I'm up to 4170

do the usernames ''PittViper'' or ''Winnepeg'' ring any bells for anyonw? Or ''WNDSPRT666''? |

I'm out guys.. I guess there will be no repeat for me. I caught a flush on the turn and lost to a bigger flush. Good luck to all. I hope to see you on the boat.

well, i would've been in (won a seat yesterday), but i didn't get around to registering in time (forget about the one-hour-beforehand limit). oops.

2nd Break
5590 just hangin on table 9 card cold for now
|
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Down to 2700 or so. I'm learning a painful lesson about limping and/or raising in EP w/KQo and AJo, as I've been reraised and pushed off of the hand both times. Steal chances have been few and far between, but hangin in there.

Re: 2nd Break
5998 at break.
I /really/ don't like my table...at all. Judging by the chatter, there's a few TV pro's at my table. |
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Bad round,,,down to 3630. Some ill fated bluffs and semis. Good news, I'm on table 5 so I won't get moved unti right around bubble time.

Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
yeah dude, fold that cheese in EP. GL

Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
Second break at t7300.
Got really lucky with my 2pr AQ vs. a set of sixes. That woulda crippled me. |
Re: 2nd Break
At T2100. Last two hands I've folded 99 and 88 to raises on my near-right... too tight?
|
Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
slow bleed to 5000, haven't seen a hand worth playing in what seems like hours.

Re: *The Official Party Poker Million IV Semis Sunday Thread*
This is the hand busted on. I had shown good hands so far in the tournament so I wanted to start playing more aggressively so I raised with 97s. I was on the button with a late position limper who played a lot of hands. I raised hoping to win the pot immediately or take it on the flop. I had a flush draw on the flop and caught a flush on the turn. I hesitated on the turn like the third diamond scared me. I bet and was raised. I called and went over the top on the river. He showed me a bigger flush.
