Wow - add this to the Cryptos and that's $500 in bonus money this month from the two big networks. Maybe the other Party skins will announce reloads this week as well...

Re: Question for New Account

So if I open a new account tonight can I get both the first time deposit and the reload? Of course I would have to deposit then work off then deposit again.

MicroBob 01-03-2005 02:17 PM

Re: Question for New Account

yes you can get both.

no you would not have to work off the first one before getting the 2nd one.
Just open an account and deposit now. and then deposit again on jan 5 with the reload code. and then work both of them off.

How Long Should It Take To Clear?

1400 raked hands 2 tabling 1/2?

kenberman 01-03-2005 02:38 PM

Re: How Long Should It Take To Clear?

that's about 120 hands an hour. maybe 66% of hands are raked?
so, about 18 hours.

Rah 01-03-2005 02:44 PM

Re: How Long Should It Take To Clear?

With a good table, it's easy to reach 75-80%.

If you can 2-table I think you will find 4-tabling just as easy (assuming your hardware can do a 1600x1200 screen).

4-tabling is essential to efficient bonus whoring.

1/2 6-max clears these very fast for those micro limit players.

Unfortunately neither my hardware or eyesight allows me to 4 table at PP skins. I can easily use the mini view at TGC but can't get my monitor to do a 1600x1200 screen that I can see.

Cool - understood. Graphics cards can be had pretty cheaply these days, though...I think I shelled out about $40 on mine.

As far as the eyesight thing is concerned...what about using a 4-color deck?

Probably - I just needed it to do 1600x1200, which it does. My computer is pretty old...no AGP slot, just PCI...so my choices were limited.

Re: How Long Should It Take To Clear?

That's what I paid for my TI-4200 two years ago. While not the best card - it's good enough to run World Of Warcraft or Everquest II.

I did upgrade to a 9800 Pro two weeks ago though, now that is a good card.

Are you telling me that if I open an account with the 20% bonus and then reload on the 5th and then play 1400 raked hands I'll clear both bonuses?

I thought I'd have to play 500 raked to clear the first, then another 1400 raked to clear the second

Re: Question for New Account

You'll have to play 1900 raked to clear all $300. You can't work the signup bonus and reload off at the same time. However, you can stack the bonuses.

ohkanada 01-03-2005 03:56 PM

Re: Question for New Account

No you would need to do the 500 + 1400 hands.

Re: Question for New Account

I think you'll need to clear all 1900. My advice is to sign up immediately and get started on the 500, then sign up for the $200 reload bonus on the 9th so you have more time to clear it. (Rather than signing up for both at the same time - better to start the clock ticking as late as possible on your 14 days.)

edit: assuming that they count hands toward your 1st signup bonus before they count anything toward the reload.

I believe that is the case. I am in the same boat as you as I do not yet have an empire account. I was looking over the rakerebate site, and the only good affiliate with empire (25%) has server problems.

I think you have to play 1900 hands to clear both and thats what I was assuming when I asked that question.

Re: Empire Reload Starts January 5th

I also got a reload offer on 1/2/05 %15 to $100. 15 days to clear 7x raked hands. looks like $300 free.

MicroBob 01-03-2005 08:49 PM

Re: Question for New Account

yes....you have to play all 1900.
but you do NOT have to play the first 500 hands before making the reload deposit.

You can deposit twice and then play it all off......but if you play off the 500 hands first before making the reload deposit that will be fine too.

Just pointing out that you do NOT have to clear the first bonus before DEPOSITING for the reload bonus.

In fact, you can deposit, not play a single-hand, cash-out the full amount, get it back the next day (probably) and then re-deposit with the same money to get the 2nd bonus.
And then start grinding-away your 1900 raked-hands.
