Let's get a list going of who will be at the Pokerstars Carribean tournament coming up soon. I am going, Danny Ashman, I am medium height, scrawny, dark hair. If you want to meet up sometime PM or something.

I'm there most likely spotted at the bar or playing whatever stakes get served drinks fastest, if i'm not there i'll be here. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

Also, could someeone who's already been around the caribbean suggest an island to go to afterwards. Cuba is out of the question. I was thinking either Long Island or Andros. Or trying to find Johnny Depp filming Pirates of the Caribbean 2. I was just thinking of a small-medium sized island, good beach, medium night life. Suggestions please!

Looks like Stars has the initial flights set.
I am on day 1. Was hopeing for day 2.
But after looking at the lineups, think I like Day 1's list better.

Any other observations?

You were hoping for Day 2? Keep in mind that of the 10 players that made the final table of the 2004 Big One, 9 of them started on Day One.

I'm in and will be playing on Day 1. 5' 8" thin, early 30s, NS WM looking for...oh wait, wrong forum. Will probably be wearing blue shades and a cubs lid. Will be travelling with the wife and kids (5 and 2). Hope to meet some of you there.

I'm in also - Day 2. I am also hoping to make the highest percentage return on this tournament in the history of tournaments. I won the first $160 double shootout I played in and bought $650W that same morning for $500, so I really only have $10 tied up in this party.

I'm 5'6", 170 lbs...but I have a mean outside jump-shot.

I'm also going pretty bald on top. 34 yrs old and I look it...unless I'm wearing a baseball-cap (forwards or backwards) in which case I look 29 1/2.

I have piercing blue-eyes, a dazzling smile and am left-handed. I enjoy dining-out, going to the movies and long walks on the beach.
I can't swim and sometimes I don't shave. I have a hairy chest.

I will be wearing either my dark-brown courderoy type shirt...or my new lucky light-blue vertical-stripe shirt which makes me look taller.


Also, I will not be on the cruise so it will likely be more difficult to find me.

Not going. Tried a few double shoot outs and no luck. From your descriptions, most of you are pretty skinny. Who said poker players are a bunch of fat fcks.

Expect some good trip reports.

I'll be there, 34, 5'11'' latino guy. Evem I have played in some WSOP events, this is gonna be my first WPT event. It would be a cool idea to have a picture in Bahamas with all the 2+2'ers

Based on the PokerStars site the main event is a 21+ even though you could play in the qualifiers if you were 18.

I cut the following off of the PokerStars FAQ site:

You must be 18 years of age or of legal age of majority in your jurisdiction (whichever is greater) to play either in satellites or in any of the Events. Please note that if you win the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure main event, but do not meet the age requirement for the WPT Championship (age 21 at the time of the championship), you will forfeit without compensation the entry into the WPT Championship. For complete age information please visit our Terms and Conditions

the "main event" that is 21+ is the WPT finale event at bellagio, the 25k event.

you can play in the pokerstars bahamas wpt if you are 18+
