Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
I was drunk...very, very drunk.
Real answer: No. Hell no. |
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
No. Unless I see my oponets pocket aces by accident. I would still think about it after that.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
i have folded AA preflop in limit holdem... 6max no less... god do i HATE that "fold to any bet" button. so effing stupid... the only times i have ever used that thing was on accident. BTW i would never fold KK preflop on purpose. no.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
KK is second best, I wouldn't fold preflop.
|
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
I might fold.....because it will build character.......duh, never!

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
Yes, maybe 3-4 times to obvious limp-reraises. Everytime the villian had AA.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
I do just as S&M say and don't play group 1 hands ever. Hardly ever play group 2-4, sometimes player 5-6 almost always play 7 and less.
I just dont understand why I'm not winning yet... |

This is utterly retarded. If you raise and a limper reraises, you're going to be getting the odds to call even if you "know" he has AA and even if you two are headsup. GoT |

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
I've occasionally run into people who -only- limp-reraise with AA, and who have PFR stats of 1% or less at several hundred hands. Against them I'd consider it. Not that it's ever come up. Even against them there are a lot of table conditions that would have me playing any pair, so even there if it -did- come up I'd likely still end up playing KK
|
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
um if it saves you money in the long run doesn't it make that the right play?
however folding KK preflop when you know the other guy has AA in the limp-reraise scenario is wrong. |
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
I'm not saying that my play is correct. I'm just responding to the post, and telling the truth here.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
Don't worry, I've called many limp-reraises with KK and been shown AA. I've also mucked QQ to a limp-reraise and got shown AJ. I was just truthfully responding to the question.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
I never have... I guess if it got capped in front of me by an extremely passive player I would. But I can't even think of more than one or two times that it's been capped in front of me.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
3 months ago, I was on the button with KK. UTG raised, followed by a maniac who 3 bet. Cutoff to my right capped. Cutoff never 3bet or capped w/o aces. He was as rocky as they come. I folded.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
You guys are completely missing GoT's point. HU against a LRR you are getting 6.3-6.6:1 odds (depending on blind structure) to call the LRR. Even if you know for a fact the guy has AA you are getting more than enough implied odds to call and try and flop a set.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
Once - but it was because Crypto folded the hand because the software was running slow and I couldn't get to the Raise button soon enough.
|
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
No and I've never not re-raised with them either. I am never backing down with KK pre-flop.
|
I Have.
Playing 4-8 Hold em at Foxwoods with my Brother at the table. We don't like to take money from each other. He raised, I re-raised with KK and he capped. I mucked the kings face up on the table.
Next thing I know, my brother gives me a pity look and tables QQ. DOH!!! Peace Goodie |
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
No - I have never purposely folded this hand preflop.

Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
What about JJ?
Hero on button. UTG folds, UTG+1 raises, MP1 3-bets, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO caps, Hero ? -d |
Re: Have you ever folded KK preflop in Limit Holdem?
