Set over set over set beaten by FLUSH

This is one of the most bizarre hands I have ever seen. At least I didn't have the Kd so I could get out on the flop.

The river card was supposed to be the 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Those Indonesian midgets at Party HQ are really slipping up.

"Indonesian midgets" is offensive. They prefer to be called rittle peeper.

Re: Set over set over set beaten by FLUSH

There are some on here who would've said to fold the 56d on the flop for fear of someone having a bigger flush draw. Won't get into the calling 3 preflop though, that's obvious.

Some of the biggest pots i've ever seen were taken down by baby flushes.

I dunno. Rigged, hmmmm. Witnessed this in a live 20-40 about a year and a half ago.

4 players take a flop capped PF
Flop is JQK. Flop is capped
Turn is a rag. Capped
River is anothe rag. Capped
The hands:
KK
QQ
JJ
AT

3 players went nuts. One was very happy.
I actually witnessed this. Rigged, hmmm.

What's nuts is that the guy with Jacks didn't realize he was no good.

See, I knew it was rigged. . . .

This is why I've retired again. Sick of the constant bad beats, the one card-suck outs, the obvious team players, the bots, etc.

I just don't have any more money left to donate. Mortgage is overdue.

This time I mean it. I'm done.

a home game i used to play in:

flop: set over set over set and a open end SF draw

turn: quads over full over full and SF draw

river: SF over quads over full over full

the game disbanded after that (it had been running for over a yr before that).

OK, i wasn't there. but multiple players from that game that were there told me. The winner was the host and dealer for that hand.

Ten reasons? Or really just one?

TSP, I've never said anything like this on the board, but: I truly think you have an addiction problem and should get some support on talking it through. Go to a group and rededicate yourself to the day job. You're surely a fine player but these swings -- emotional even more than financial -- are deeply unhealthy. And part of the unhealthiness comes from the same instinct that causes you to multiply reasons 1) through 10), when A) {and also the emotional equivalent, B, not having the stamina} is the real issue. And a serious one.

"Mortgage is overdue."

Please take care of yourself.

You just don't understand poker.

Hands like these are MEANT to happen. I find all these posts utterly stupid since it's just a rare case in probability that eventually when you have a board of 500 people playing 500 hands a day they are going to see them.

What's funniest is the SB never called less than 2 bets at a time until he was ahead....and bet the turn!!!

Okay, he definitely fooled me if he was joking. But if you know his history I think not.

If I've been had then please do yuk it up.

You move in and out of retirement more often than Michael Jordan.

"Mortgage is overdue."

TSP, for a guy with a day job who plays 20-40 live, I really hope that was a joke. You don't have to stay between the hash marks, but at least stay in bounds.
