I'll be celebrating my 1-year anniversary on the forums (coincidence, really) for five nights in Las Vegas... Tues 8/10 through Sun 8/15.

I know there's allegedly some sort of secret poker cabal *grin* that meets on Weds. there, if someone could PM me with the info I'd appreciate it. Also I plan on playing a $100+30 sat to the $500 NL tourney at Bellagio, anyone with advice on that would be welcome to post here also.

If any 2+2ers will be in the area and playing 3/6 or 4/8 around town at the time, I'll most likely be wearing either a red Pirates cap or a blue Sri Lanka cricket cap at the tables so stop by and say hi. I plan on skipping around all over the Strip to try to get good room offers for my next trip.

I will be there that week too. Going to a wedding so I am just hoping to squeeze in a few tourneys and a small amount at limit but I will look for your hat.

I'll be theie the night of the 13th thrue the afternoon of the 15th. Real quick trip, but my last one for a while as my wife is due in October so Iwon't be getting out as often, so it will be a poker frenzy for me. I'll likely be at the Excalibur and Luxor in the evenings, as we are staying at the Trop, but I'll probably venture down to the Bellagio or Mirage Sat, morning or afternoon. Not sure what I'll be wearing, but most likely will have either a Denver Broncos visor or a Golden State Warriors hat on.Will keep my eyes open for any pirate or Pirates hats playing cards.

I had thought about making a NPAEM Fan T-shirt for the trip.

You simply MUST show up for the wednesday poker discussion group at binion's in the cafe on wednesdays at 2:00.

PM me for details and my phone number, thus we can meet up. I might be able to give you a lift as well.

Since I've got here I've met a bunch of 2+2ers, it's always a good time and interesting. A few have picked me out from the crowded tables too....

i'll be there the exact same week.

Tuesday the 11th until friday. I'll be the young looking one with blue sunglasses grinding it out at the bellagio 2/5 and 1/2 no limit tables. I also might play in a satellite to get into the friday night big time bellagio nl tourney.

I won't be in Vegas that week, but I will be showing up on the 29th of August (I got to escape the RNC in NYC!). I'll be sure to be there on September 1st!

I'll be at Mandalay 8/10-8/16. Getting married on the 10th, but will be able to play some NL and 15-30 at Bellagio later in the week. Let me know if you get something together.

All right, I'm starting to worry, there's going to be too many 2+2'ers there this week. I'm there from the 9th through the 13th staying at the mirage. I'll be the guy not wearing his sunglasses and doing a very poor chip flip and whirl.

Just let me know when and where and I'd be glad to meet up with whoever's out there for a drunk low limit session. Excalibur would be fine. I'd almost rather do it in the afternoon sometime though because I don't want to miss out on the better Friday and Saturday night games while I'm sitting at a low limit game with a bunch of 2+2ers. I planned on spending a bit of time at the Excalibur anyway. Only thing IHAVE to do is take my wife ot the Rio buffet for lunch on Saturday. We try get there at about 10:45 so you can get in at the breakfast price, but still get the freshest lunch items when they bring them out at 11:00.

I'm heading to las vegas tomorrow evening, staying through until sunday, 8/1. I expect to be spending some time around binions and the nugget, but hope to head over to the strip, probably for most of friday.

I'll be in Vegas from Aug. 9 - 15th, so I'd be up for a game at the Excalibur. Sounds like a lot of fun (although -EV moneywise).

I am SOOOO lucky thats the week I decided to stop drinking!$!$!

But I'm unlucky that I won't be in town until 2 weeks later... perhaps we can schedule part two on August 31st, a little B-Day celebration to mark my 1/2 way point in my 30's?

Most of August is a dead month, should not be a problem. But the last week of August - watch out for the mega-convention followed immediatly by the holiday weekend. Its going to be hard to get a room that week, I'm staying at a friend's place instead.

I got Tues-Sat night at Imperial Palace for just over $325 including tax. I'm pretty happy with that.

I am guess that the spread limit or fixed limit would be a better venue than the NL with all the drinking going on right?

For a drunken game, I would suggest the 1-3 spread limit. No one will get majorly hurt there. The one thing is, you cannot spin "the wheel" while playing 1-3. That makes the only other options 2-6 or 4-8 (if the wheel is that important to anyone). However, If we are all drinking heavily, it's not inconceivable that someone could lose several hundred playing these games, so just how important is the wheel? It doesn't really matter to me tho, I can play any of them, even drinking, without getting hurt too bad if I get pummelled. I suggest we make it up to the group, but I also suggest 1-3 is probably the best bet.

I also suggest we make this game start at 4pm (?) at excalibur on this tuesday afternoon (August 3rd). Further comments / suggestions anyone?
