Pay-Pro calls to verify second account.

I opened a second account on party tonight following the instructions an affiliate gave me. I deposited and was playing when I get an e-mail notice to contact Pay-Pro immediately to verify my account. After going through the usual address, birthdate confirmation crap he says, "I see you have two accounts with us." I scramble to think of an explanation that does not include mentioning rakeback. I confirm that I had an old account and he informs me I am only allowed to have one. I fake being surprised and nervously wait for the impending question of why I opened another account, but it never comes. He simply asked which account I wanted to close and then verified all of my info again. I thought I was off the hook when he starts asking me if I know some friends of mine who have played on my computer before. I verify that I do indeed know them. He then asked if he could help me with anything else and that was that. I still can't think of a good answer for opening a second account but it looks like for now they are turning a blind eye in hopes of getting back the skin players. I was particularly worried because my original account was directly through party and not an affiliate but I guess they are just glad to have me back. I just wanted to let people know what to expect if you try this. This seems to be the same line they were taking back when people were opening up acounts on all of the skins.

little off the subject but what is the cowboys record this year

I was wondering why everyone is saying wait till tommarow for the rakeback decision from Party. Could it be that this decision has been made?

Thanks for the info. Was your old account inactive for a certain period of time or had you been using it at all recently?

Re: Pay-Pro calls to verify second account.

Yeah, I told them to close the old one. I had not played on it in about a month or so but I had logged in as recently as today.

Sations, don't act like you don't know what the cowboys record is and I know you saw them trounce the best team in the NFC on sunday.

On a side note, when I opened my new account my screen name choices kept getting rejected for being offensive. All I did was try Eagles_suck. Who would find that offensive, lol.

What happens to the money in old account, do they move it to the newer one? I haven't yet opened a new account but I'm getting nice offers. Wonder if I should withdraw everything first before creating second account?

I did not have money in the old account so I can't answer that.

Re: Pay-Pro calls to verify second account.

Following news and instructions from my affiliate (I've had only good experiences and he has a measure of my trust) I undertook to open a new PP account per instructions (new email address, new funding method). I made a deposit and received a phone call as well.

My old account had been dormant for more than 1 month but less than 6. It had less than $10 in it. There was a time when I did quite a bit of business in the account so I had built up a stack of Party points. I originally funded it using one of the webbank/online methods.

The fellow I spoke with asked me to verify some information about myself, my address, my contact info, and my new account. I was informed that I have more than one account with them, could only keep one, and I was asked which account I wanted to keep. I requested the old account be closed.

I was informed that I would forfeit Party points I had built up in my old account and that I could not use any of the financial information associated with my old account on my new account. Was I ok with that? (Yes). Closing my old account seemed to be no problem though it took a couple minutes of keypunching on the PP end.

The fellow I spoke with overall was very nice, helpful and accomodating. Maybe this info will help you when you navigate all of the goings on.

"Pay-Pro" is the name of the service that handles the deposits. Look at the blue bar at the top of the page. "Payments by Pay-Pro Cashier System".

Thanks for this clarification, but I'm still trying to get it through my thick skull...

What I think you're saying is that:

-Paypro is a company that works for party, handling their payments, etc.
(evidenced by: paypro being the merchant in neteller transactions, party support transferring you to paypro support if you need anything to do with transactions, and what you just said, of course)

So, I'm assuming that OP just made a second party account with the same neteller, and then paypro called him up and closed the first account?

SWEEEEET.

Unfortunately, no. I couldn't use my neteller account because it was associated with my old account. I had to open a Firepay account to deposit. Pay-pro is Parties cashier company and you deal with them no matter which method you choose.

I can't wait for the re-match in Washington. Should be a good one.

Thanks for hte clarification.

Firepay currently blows for canadian customers: they'll only let you hold a balance in $CDN, which increases transfer costs if you're moving around money to bonus whore, and they charge you to make a deposit to their account... it's a flat deposit fee... but still.

I'm thinking moneybookers might be the right way to go, if they'll let me hold a $USD balance. (If they even let you hold a balance.).

They're large and reputable, and they only charge 0.8% on conversion.

Also, they use the rates of the european central bank, which is sweet.

A long time ago, neteller charged no conversion cost but used really shitty conversion rates (which amounted to a 1.9% fee). Now they convert at good rates but they charge a 1.9% fee.

f-king fraudulent bastards. I obviously prefer greater transparency. At least they have decent customer support.

To me, depending on what moneybookers have available, though, they may be the people that get the rest of my business.

My fingers are crossed.

When I signed up for Empire a few months ago I got a popup telling me that they couldn't contact me and I should contact them in order to activate my account. I ignored it and they've never tried to get in touch with me since.

fwiw.

That's fine for the deposit (hopefully the only one you'll ever make), but what about the withdrawals? I don't think that Firepay is an option on their withdrawal page.

Yes this is a problem. I don't know why the f*ck Party makes Firepay a deposit option but not a cashout. I am going to either open a moneybookers account or close my old neteller account and open a new one.

the withdrawal portion seems to be an issue now, does anyone know if neteller will allow you to close your account and re-open a new one? I would think it would need some sort of wait period, no?

What if you have a neteller account w/ Empire but not with Party. Can you still use the same account with Party?

I don't know the answer to the Neteller question, but no doubt that for me Neteller is the nuts as far as moving an online bankroll around and getting funds to and from a checking account.

So if anybody succeeds with 1) blowing all their Neteller points on one of those weekly drawings, then 2) closing and reopening with a new Neteller account...post to let us know of your success.

Meanwhile another option you can use is the IGM-Pay method for deposits and withdrawals from your bank account. Takes a bit to set it up, but Party gives you a 20% to $100 bonus first time you use it. They won't let you attach the same bank account to 2 different Party Accounts (I had to 'detach' from my PokerNow account when I attached to my Party account some months ago).

IGM deposits are instant without a fee, but what sucks balls is that Party freezes your entire account bankroll for like 5 days until the $500 IGM transaction clears. Then IGM cashouts seem to take 5 days to hit the bank as well.

IGM = secure but slow cashouts.
