Heh, someone's reading my mind. I'm beginning to feel like I was the only hi/lo player left here.
I might have a post-worthy hand from a SnG I played last night. I'll check when I get home.

I don't think I've seen a good stud8 game going without an insane waitlist for at least a month now.

Really? I'm up over 30BB at the $1/2 game over the last week on Stars. I think they even had 3 games going last night at that level at one point.

I hear ya. Party has had terrible games lately even at the 2-4 level. Every once in a while I'll see a 5-10 or 10-20 with an avg pot size of about 7 BB, but thats only for a few minutes. I've really been getting anxious to try the 30-60 stars game, so you might see some posts pop up from there in the next month or so.

The problem with the Party 2/4 and 3/6 games is that guys like CJE1969 sit down, play a few hands, then sit out until they get booted out. Another guy will sit out to make a sandwich or something, then others sit out because they hate playing short-handed split pot games. The pot sizes are small in these games because so many people are sitting out.

I was playing a little stud8 this week...then my computer decided that it didnt want to turn on for awhile. Maybe Ill post a hand or two this weekend. mscags inspired me to play stud8 tournaments on ps again. BTW, stud8 sngs are stupid.

I agree 100%. My friend made me play one of these for a last longer bet and I literally wanted to kill myself.

the edges in stud8 are so small, it always ends up being a complete and total crap shoot once you get anywhere near the bubble.

When it gets near the bubble, you shouldn’t be playing Stud/8 anymore. My game turns into a combination of Stud (High) and chicken.

There is not a more sinking feeling than to attack the BI with a decent pair and watch him catch runner, runner, runner to fyo.

That's exactly what makes s/8 SNG's so profitable, so few people know how to play them right.
