It's a fish, indigenous to 2+2, that swims downstream to spawn

Brain fade.
There has been a request for discussion of changing Heads Up Trout to pot limit.

discuss.

pot limit: please do. VERY fun game HU. not at all like those times you accidently reg. in a limit sng. i've been playing in a handful recently, and they are often just as quick as the NL-HU. besides, it'll keep skipper from pushing me around!! (rigged)

Make it donkey limit lowball triple draw with a bug, what do I care? I gotsda skillz necessary for pwnage.

Nah, PLHE sounds good to me. Then I can actually understand how they figure out how much to raise when they raise the pot.

Whats the Atlantic/ Pacific for?

Re: Atlantic/ Pacific Trout Games Dec 14th

There have been three of these games over the past two years, the "Euorpean" game at 2PM EST which no longer exists, the "Atlantic" at 8PM EST, and the "Pacific" at 10PM EST. They represent only starting times that are convenient for people in those time zones to play. Anyone is invited to play in any of the games.

Re: Atlantic/ Pacific Trout Games Dec 14th

A couple of years ago, there was a discussion in the Zoo (Internet Forum) as to the advisability of saying "HI, aren't you from 2+2?" in the open on a table. The suggestion was that some recognition phrase be proposed, so that forum players could recognize each other without using the 2+2 name. Some wiseguy (I don't remember who) suggested: "Does the Brown Trout sleep in the closet?"

And it stuck.

Hey guys, I was thinking that these Trout games sound like a lot of fun and a great way for me to trully find out how bad I am for a small sum of money.

Anyway, I don't currently have a poker stars account so I was looking for suggestions as to how to get the maximum benefit from my first deposit (bonuses, etc.).

I do not believe Stars offers sign up bonuses or other special benefits. The do offer periodic reload bonuses (which you can clear playing tournaments).

You might want to check in the Internet Bonuses forum to be sure though.
