September Goals
 

It's that time again.

-Play 30k hands at 3/6 6m.
-Be ready to move to 5/10 6m at the end of the month.
-Play the Commerce 20/40.
-Earn enough in the first half of the month to pay the difference on a trade in for a 2006 Honda Civic.
-Read Weighing the Odds in Hold'em and How Good is Your Limit Hold'em?
-Go to the beach more.
-Enjoy my last month of summer vacation.

-Stab 10/20 6-max on Oct 1st.
-Create my first asset. Buy a second asset with income generated by the first.
-Echo going to the beach more.
-Post 1 hand/day.
-Read the following. For poker, ITPM, HEPFAP, TOP. Not poker, Getting Things Done by Allen, Rich Dad's Guide to Investing by Kiyosaki, and Think by Blackburn.

-Get through HEPFAP and revisit TOP until all the concepts can be applied by second nature.
-Post 1 hand/day. Read the forums religiously, and actually ask questions.
-Take up a healthy sleeping pattern.
-Party with s0ma.

Put in 15,000 hands at my rakeback sites and do 20,000 hands total.

Improve my river play.

Beat a certain level at a certain site where I have really felt snakebit the last couple months.

Get my two year old daughter to peddle her bike properly instead of "flintstoning" it. Also get her to poop in her potty chair, instead of only peeing.

Why are you playing 30-60 live and 3-6 online? One of these things is not like the other...

My goals:
- Play live NL games in Atlanta at least 3 times a week.
- Work on my SH game and get involved in the SH online games again to the tune of about 2000 hands a week.
- Get involved in more tournaments that are 200+ entry cost.

- Be able to balance work part-time, school full-time, friends, and still put in 15k hands
- Consider moving to 3/6 by the end of the monthh
- Post more of my own hands
- Continue working out

- start on new contract -- means being in office 4 days/week (yuck)
- 2 trips to Foxwoods to beat beat 10/20 game

-reread SSHE(I reread HEPFAP 3 times last month during my lunch breaks at work); maybe several times.

-delve into the realm of 6-max play at the same limits I now play.

-stop playing so much NL at the local fish pool; but damn, all of the Limit fish moved over and it is ooooh soooo sweet.

-stop playing so much NL on Party; but damn, they are ALL soooo freakin' fishy.

-play 1000 hands or down to 25 BB on Party 10/20; just to get my feet wet.

-make enough to donate $1000 to Katrina relief
-lift weight 3 times a week
-cardio 4x / week for at least 45 minutes
-read SSHE twice again
-go out on at least 2 dates
-hope to hit a bad beat so I can volunteer a month or two for Katrina rebuild

I do this.

I feel so much more comfortable at many 20/40 live tables than at many 3/6 online tables... it's a little weird.

I hate playing online, and so I play small to get comfortable with it.

My goals:

-Get more comfortable playing online poker.

- Read HOH1&amp;2 and maybe try to play some tourneys.
- Get back to the gym.
- Keep up in school.
- Keep reading the forums and hopefully learn something.
- Find a cute girl.

Not to be in bad taste but you might consider trying this one again. Given NOLA and LA earthquakes and general failure of FEMA's new patronage mill approach to bureaucracy.

2. Playing only one table at a higher limit logging around 1,5K hands

3. log 3K hands at 3/6 6max dual tabeling

4. Read/post study more.

5. stop worrying if this poker bubble will be done in a year or so.

Do all these while working on class work and spending more time with the GF.
