When I have had a beard or goatee in the past, yes. It feels good to shampoo it.

Dave, if you grown an Asian beard, you need to either post pics here or come to Los Angeles.

I have a beard but I get very dry and flaky skin underneath it. How do I improve my skin dryness here?

I've used moisturizers, but this is only a temporary solution and I'd like a long term improvement.

I've had a full beard for about 8 years. I shampoo it every day. If I don't it itches.

Pert Plus: Makes my goatee (and beard when I had one) silky and smooth.

i use a facial scrub, it can be bad to not wash your face when you have a beard, this is when dirt is trapped in there the easiest.

Re: Question for dooders with facial hair, particularly beards

I used to just use facial soap when I had one.

I had one for about a month but it looked like this guys:

so it wasn't too thick to the point of using shampoo. I just used normal face wash.

I really want Andyfox to answer this. For some reason I think he has a beard.

Anyway, I have lame 4 day Asian facial hair, which means I have chin hair, 4 miscellaneous (does it make me homophobic because I originally typed out "rando" but I changed it because I thought Diablo might consider that usage gay?) patches and a sorry-ass teenager-like moustache. I gave the whole thing a big shampoo lather/rinse/no-repeat in the shower this morning after my first ever gym workout and I felt like a new man.

yes - when I have a beard.

I don't think a 4 day growth needs it though - give it a couple weeks before you do that - it'll dry your skin out a bit if you don't have a lot of hair on there.
