Kurto the Clown
 

I am flattered by the fact that Kurto the Clown has become my personal stalker. Obviously he has a lot of fun replying to anything that I post; rarely ever using anything approaching a coherent thought in the posts that I had read before I initially ignored him, and in the two subsequent "second chances" that I gave him. I find it exciting, really, that he feels the need to constantly reply to anything that I post with, what I can only assume, are unflattering remarks. He consistently failed to disprove anything that I wrote. He consistently failed in his pitiful attempts at humor. He is purely, and simply (with the emphasis on simple) a troll. Not even a clever one like Dead (who apparently is out of classes for the summer and has something better to do than post on one of the most useless forums in the history of the internet).

The only motivation that I can think of for Kurto the Clown is that he fears me. But really, you have nothing to fear young man/woman. I simply am a supporter of personal freedom and responsibility. He doesn't like me (as much as he may claim to), or my "over the top for the hell of it" persona. I do support MOST of the positions that I present. However, his assertion that I am a parody is not entirely correct, though I do parody from time to time.

So, I am going to leave this forum under this name. Like a good Liberal he has used character assassination to discredit a lot of my real posts. That's fine though, he's only attacking that name. My challenge to Kurto the Clown is to point out who I am when I return under a different alias. If its really what I write that you parody, and not ME, then you should have no problem. Good luck Clown.

I have my beliefs. All in all I support personal freedom. I also do not believe that same sex couples should be granted a marriage. The word means, and has meant for hundreds of years, a union between a man and a woman. I see no logical reason that we should change the definition of the word. If you want to grant same sex couples a civil union, thats fine, give them all the rights of a married couple, but make the process just as legally binding. Further, I see no stopping the moral decline in this country if we do not put a stop to it somewhere. Soon Kurto will be able to marry his sister and his mom because incest and polygamy have no rational arguments against them that gay marriage doesnt.

I say plenty. For instance, the other night I posted references from numerous articles provided evidence that there was a history of same sex marriage for centuries. The reason I posted it was because of this clown named Jaxmike who repeatedly has written that, "Marriage has always been between a man and a woman." This clown Jaxmike, and others like him, think the definition requires a man and a woman. I posted a look at the definition of marriage (only requires a husband) based on its latin root and refer to articles that have shown the definition in various texts and older dictionaries never mentioned gender requirements. It aptly demonstrated why people like Jaxmike are so often wrong and outright ignorant. And that the best way to reply them is to mock them.

Fair enough. I used to frequent another political forum. There were many 'classes' of posters. There were people who came to seriously discuss issues. There were trolls. There were brilliant people challenged you and made you question a lot of your beliefs. And then there were people like Jax.

The 2 favorite kinds of posters were always
(1) the brilliant people who challenged you (and even if you didn't agree with them, you respected how well they articulated their viewpoint)
and
(2) the people like Jax. There was a guy who would argue that women had an extra rib. He debated endlessly that, because of the Bible, women all had an extra rib. When people cited common sense, medical tests, x-rays, etc... he dismissed them as God-hating-liberals. He was fond of doing things like finding articles where a single writer states his viewpoint, then concluding that ALL Liberals (and it didn't really matter if the people were really liberals or not) were guilty of something.

His logic was so off, he was so nonsensical, that people looked forward to his showing up because they wanted to see how goofy his next response would be. He was the comedic balance to the serious discussions.

I also submit to you... Jax eggs it on. Do you honestly think that someone who goes from one poster another, telling them repeatedly that he's the smartest guy on the forum and accusing everyone else of 'irrational hatred' ISN'T trolling for attention?

Jax gets the same attention in most threads he's in. And it usually happens when he starts calling people fascists, socialist, hatred filled idiots. I think he enjoys the attention.
